Project description/analysis: Cards: We have 2 types of cards (https://europeanyouthcard.onek.org.cy/en/youth-13-30-years-old/#toggle-…): - Student Card -> User needs to submit a form in order to request it (https://europeanyouthcard.onek.org.cy/en/youth-13-30-years-old/#toggle-… => Student Card) - European Youth Card -> we will just add some text and redirection to the website on that specific section (https://europeanyouthcard.onek.org.cy/en/youth-13-30-years-old/#toggle-… => European youth Card) 

Languages: The mobile apps will be in english language for now. In the future there is a possibility to add Greek language as well. Discounts: We have around 100 discounts created in the website as portfolio items (https://europeanyouthcard.onek.org.cy/en/privileges-in-cyprus/). As you can see all discounts belong to categories. Each discount consists of its title, description, category, featured image and location fields (street, zip, city, country). We need to have a screen where users can search for discounts based on City and Category (2 drop down lists like the app Greece did : https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/iJSC5sieshor8WciM94gqHurX6pBeeQAVkDEo…).

We also need a button (perhaps on top right corner) that on click it will display all discount categories in a sliding panel (like the app Greece did : https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/MwlaKHmIO_tfAuzQKDhALdypuhBrggKIKknF9…). We must have a button which will lead to a map, showing all discounts near the user. This will require location to be on. Each discount pin should display the title, description and feature image on click. When clicking on title it should go to the detailed screen of the selected discount. Posts:

We have 2 posts categories which are the Contests (https://europeanyouthcard.onek.org.cy/diagonismoi/) and the announcements (https://europeanyouthcard.onek.org.cy/nea-anakoinoseis/). We need to display each category's posts on a different screen. On each post's detailed page, we must have the ability to share to social media. Contact: We need a screen that will hold the contact details (text) and an icon that on click will redirect to the organizations google map location.

General description: We should have a screen where we will add some text describing the organization. This text will not come from the website, but it will be part of the app.  Social icons with links: We need to display the follow us social icons in all screens. Perhaps those can be visible in footer I am also placing the XD link with the designs below. We are working on some final details on the design and i will let you know once everything is set for you to start working.

Please note that not all screens shown in the XD link are unique screens that should be created independently. We are including more screens than necessary for showing the extra elements/functionality upon user interaction. The mobile app should look like those designs exactly. Not all agreed points were implemented. Delivery time was larger than estimated.  Communication was slow in most cases. End result was OK for client.

I’m the co-founder of an open-market website. It’s an e-commerce app for selling and buying products and services.  

What challenge were you trying to address with Delaine Technologies?

I relied on them to develop the app for me.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed and designed the platform from scratch. I shared some photoshop designs with them, and they converted them into actual code. It was a collaborative process.

In the finished product, users can sell, rent, open a shop, or offer services. All of these actions are included in one platform. Users can communicate with each other through a chat functionality, and they can follow other users for activity. There’s an internal value system that allows users to accrue enough points to be able to display personalized ads.

We pay Google to promote the app every month through paid advertising, ourselves. Delaine Technologies has given me some advice, but I've mostly handled the marketing.

How did you come to work with Delaine Technologies?

I found them through a freelancing platform. I received many proposals, but I found them to be the best.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent around $5,000. We pay them on a monthly basis for their upkeep.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2019 and the app was launched in March 2020. We’re retaining them for app maintenance. It’s an ongoing partnership.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They successfully launched the app, and I was very satisfied with their work. They’re very nice people and great to work with. I believe that any partnership needs a layer of trust and satisfaction, and that’s been the case.

How did Delaine Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

The collaboration has been smooth.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’d highlight their personability. This is why I continue to work with them.

They could provide some more marketing expertise. They focus a little too much on development, so they have room for growth in the promotional areas.

We provide mobile app and web development services to UK start ups and small businesses. We make no secret of our use of offshore labour. Our business model allows us to pass on great savings to our clients. I am the founder.

This was our first mobile app development project and there was a steep learning curve. I used Delaine Technologies because we had a very good service for those website projects we had built including custom website builds

The goal of the project was to deliver a project that looked fabulous for a very economical budget that the client could afford with a timely delivery.

We had worked with them extensively on website development projects and they had performed well.

The project consisted of Android and IOS Mobile Apps, a front end web app and admin panel to manage content etc. The single app was used by the Users and Therapists to save money.

The team consisted of UK Account Manager, Offshore Project Manager, Mobile App Designer, React Native Developer, Laravel Developer, IOS and Android Developers for native component development.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was completed in a timely manner. It overrun slightly but this was more to do with the change in the brief from the client and the need to incorporate two views in a single app, User and Therapist. The budget was miniscule for a project of this nature and we won't be undertaking similar works for this budget.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was good. The team were always available and attentive.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Delaine Technologies at no time tried to charge more given that the project had become more complexed. They operate with integrity and as I client I trust them to deliver the project in time and to budget.

At times developer time is divided between multiple projects. Better to complete a project quickly and get out of the door!

Designing and functioning of the ODR platform which includes multitudes of functions along with an online training portal on the same app with its dedicated LMS.

Mr. Sachin from Delaine Technologies was always available for any input from our end and was very prompt in answering any query that we had regarding the project and its completion.

Within a month we had the first prototype on out phones. The project is currently ongoing as there were multiple additions and deletion of services and functions from what was initially planned. The team has been very receptive of all the inputs given to them from our end.

We have had multiple conference calls and in-person meetings with the team from Delaine Technologies. They're very prompt in communicating and maintaining a proper channel.
