I’m the executive director of Nexis Capital Management, a financial technology company that develops a B2B SaaS platform for institutional investors and optimizes investment-raising processes.

What challenge were you trying to address with DataMarix?

We had a tight four-month deadline to present our B2B SaaS platform to institutional investors, but we lacked the in-house technical leadership to build a secure, market-ready product.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DataMarix took over our product management. The team built our MVP from scratch while running rigorous cybersecurity audits to ensure strict GDPR compliance. DataMarix stripped out unnecessary feature bloat, implemented bank-grade encryption, and deployed a scalable cloud architecture right on schedule. The team focused on building the core security framework and scalable cloud architecture, which included setting up the infrastructure and engineering the compliance layer.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Having a fully audited, production-grade product allowed us to close our $1.2 million seed round three weeks ahead of schedule. We also achieved zero red flags on our first enterprise client’s vendor risk assessment alongside full GDPR compliance.

As a result of DataMarix's work, our conversion rates doubled within the first two months, and our ad spend finally started generating predictable revenue. Our conversion rates and revenue increased by 180%.
