For what projects/services did your company hire Data EximIT?

We hired Data EximIT for app development of my new startup related to Automation mobile application.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to provide users with an open-source test automation tool for mobile applications.

How did you select this vendor?

Firstly, I researched online but was not satisfied with the results as everyone was claiming to be the best. Later, I shortlisted 5 companies based on clutch reviews and portfolios developed. Finally, I settled my decision to DataEximIT.

Describe the project in detail.

We were planning to develop an app that can be used to test a native app, hybrid app, or any other mobile platform app. It will be supporting multiple platforms; therefore, it will lessen the burden of testers by providing a reusable functionality for their source code for testing on iOS and Android.

What was the team composition?

We worked closely with a project manager. However, I guess there were 8- 10 team members consisting of developers, testers, UX specialists, backend developers, QA engineers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

During the development phase, we use to test modules that were developed to check the usability and functionality. Most of the time testing was successful in one go. This project was very complex and required an advanced understanding of the mobile app industry. I was quite satisfied with their involvement and deliverable.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We mostly communicated over Skype and phone. My point of contact was the project manager. We used to have a weekly meeting to keep everyone in the loop and to be on the same page.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have a perfect balance of business acumen and industry awareness. Their development team is very professional and has hands-on experience of working in the mobile app industry which I could easily understand from their development process.

Are there any areas for improvement?

As of now, I cannot think of any.

I'm a product manager that helps pushes feature requests and timeline, planning of release and prioritisation of workflow. Crumbly is a startup that aims to build an ecosystem for foodies around the world.

What were your goals for this project?

To fasten our development process by buffing our development power.

How did you select this vendor?

We surveyed through multiple hiring websites to look for developers that have both experience and affordable. It wasn't easy.

Describe the project in detail.

Developing a hybrid app in react native. Mostly javascript works, and some work in google cloud services. Wireframes and guidelines were provided and I was managing as a PM as well.

What was the team composition?

1 PM, 1 Developer

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were able to meet our deadline to release a stable final version for our launch. Final app did have flaws, but the service given was good as the developer continued to help debug and made sure these flaws are solved before handing over.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Effective. Both side maintained a close communication and understanding.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Responsiveness and responsibility. They do not leave their customers waiting and will always respond, even late at night. That's what most customers need and look for.

Are there any areas for improvement?

More thorough planning should be done on both sides before feature development, as we did have to spend more time on rebuilding and restructuring some parts of the code.
