Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

CybearSoft developed our Realtime inspection monitoring Graphical User Interface. The development was done in PyQT working as Frontend to our Inspection backend. information was via a Postgres SQL database. They diligently followed a design made by our designers which included: 

• Live view of images captured from multiple cameras with result overlay over them allowing individual image zoom and pan. 
• Camera View 
• Archive to view previous inspection results 
• Statistical summary of inspection results.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The delivery was a Graphical User Interface that aligned with all the requirements that were presented. Progress was displayed by weekly meetings that show current status and answering questions that were raised. CybearSoft team worked closely with our software team on integration and testing.

The project was managed by Arthur from CybearSoft who made sure requirements were well defined and clear, communication was direct and on point. each task was individually estimated and always delivered within the timeframe. Whenever questions were raised quick meetings were set, When new ideas were presented Cybearsoft team was always on board and quick to respond.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The CyBearSoft team is very professional, all development tasks were done within the initial estimation. The team was accepting to new ideas and changes to requirements coming from our team and customers. Ongoing tweaks and bug fixes are always done in a fast and accurate way. 

I found CybearSoft team very pleasant to work with, they are always happy to assist and always perform professionally. After successful implementation and deployments of the inspection graphical user interface, We started additional GUI projects with CybearSoft.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CyBearSoft could have done differently?

Time estimations were always accurate and execution on-point. Communication was always made clear and precise. No improvement needed at the moment.

I am the CEO of an app development company that is creating an app that can make an exact copy of your cat in the metaverse.

For what projects/services did your company hire CyBearSoft, and what were your goals?

We needed 360 degree scans of tens of thousands of cats with a texture file for each cat (for use on a 3D mesh of the cat). The texture files would need to be handed generated. The 360 degree scan and texture file would be used in conjunction to train a texture generating model. Given the magnitude of the training data required it was practically impossible to generate this data without spending millions of dollars.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found CyBearSoft through a referral. Because the project was critical and time sensitive, we needed a consulting company that could move fast, require little guidance and communicated often on status.

In order to meet our needs to generate large quantities of training data, CyBearSoft created a simulator that will would generate arbitrary textures files for a 3D cat and would then generate rendered images of the cat with texture file applied from arbitrary angles. With a realistic rendered cat we could artificially create the required training data.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were 2 developers and one project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The deliverables were a system that could generate the required training data at scale. The solution had all the flexibility requirements needed, including the ability to scale the solution with an arbitrary number of parallel systems. We are able to scale the solution as needed and configure it to meet our various training data generation use-cases.

Jira, GitHub and Slack were used as our primary tools for managing the project and communications.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The project was unique in that there were not existing tools that could be extended to solve the underlying problem. CyBearSoft was able to take the high-level problem statement and generate a solution with no handholding. They moved fast and checked in often to validate that they were meeting the requirements set by the product manager.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can't think of any area where they could have improved. CyBearSoft pulled off a very hard and critical project and moved very quickly.

HealthMov is a Dubai-based startup in healthcare industry. I'm a CTO in the company.

HealthMov hired CyBearSoft to enrich its own team of developers with Python and GraphQL expertise. The company needed reliable backend developers to work on the server-side component of the main product (which is a mobile app).

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Found them on the Upwork. Among all the backend developers I had to interview, the guys from CyBearSoft seemed to be the most skilled and their prices were reasonable. They were also ok with English, which is important, because we are from different countries.

The main tech stack for the backend was; Python, Flask, GraphQL, SQLAlchemy, MySQL, Redis, Firebase Cloud Storage.

The main deliverables we got from CyBearSoft were:

• ElasticSearch for foods search
• Authentication with OTP
• GraphQL APIs for user' meals management
• Tool to export logs from Kinesis to BigQuery
• Integration with CalorieKing and Edamam 3rd party services
• Integration with Firebase
• Integration with Amazon SNS and some other features.

The project was Agile, so the team was working in 2-3 week sprints, and each sprint was planned separately, with its own small steps.

2 people, both backend developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

CyBearSoft guys did well on the project, they implemented all the required features and tasks. There were some bugs in them, but those were fixed in a timely manner.

I was the one managing CyBearSoft devs. I managed the whole team, and we used the Agile approach to the project. CyBearSoft devs were a part of our team, so they communicated with us via Slack (the same as the rest of the team) on daily basis.

Arthur and Artem (CyBearSoft's CEO and Sales manager, respectively) did not participate in the project's development, but we communicated on a weekly basis, discussing plans, and development and sharing feedback on developers.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I don't know, probably it's the sum of all parts. The developers were pretty skilled, and the communication from management was efficient in general.

Nothing I can think of as of now.
