The project involved a full refresh of Cayman Enterprise City’s website, replacing a platform that was more than five years old with a modern, flexible and conversion-focused digital experience. The objective was to create a website that better reflected CEC’s position as a leader in the special economic zone and innovation space, while giving visitors a clearer understanding of the substance behind the offering. The new site needed to feel distinctive, credible and forward-looking, create intrigue around CEC and the Cayman opportunity, and position CEC as a place where ambitious businesses come to build, operate and grow. Lead generation was also a central priority, with the website redesigned to better support paid search, organic discovery and the conversion of high-intent visitors into qualified enquiries.

Main Deliverables:
- Complete website redesign and refresh, including updated site architecture, navigation and user journeys.
- New modular design system providing greater flexibility to build and update pages while maintaining a consistent brand experience. 
- Refreshed visual identity for digital, creating a more distinctive, contemporary and innovation-led expression of the CEC brand. 
- Repositioned website messaging to communicate greater substance, leadership and differentiation, and reinforce CEC as a place where innovation happens. 
- Improved product and service presentation, making CEC’s offering, value proposition and pathways to establishing in Cayman easier to understand. 
- Enhanced lead-capture functionality, with stronger calls to action, enquiry pathways and conversion points throughout the website. 
- New landing-page capabilities designed to support search advertising and targeted marketing campaigns. 
- New email templates aligned with the refreshed website and digital brand experience.
Improved content structure and discoverability, supporting SEO and helping visitors move more intuitively from awareness to consideration and enquiry. 
- A more scalable digital platform that gives the CEC team greater flexibility to create new content, campaigns, sector pages and conversion journeys over time.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Stronger lead-generation infrastructure, with clearer calls to action, improved enquiry pathways and more strategically placed lead-capture opportunities across the site.
• Improved conversion capability, including purpose-built landing pages and forms that better support paid search campaigns and high-intent website traffic.
• A more flexible content platform, with a new modular design system that allows the CEC team to create and update pages more efficiently without compromising design consistency.
• Improved user experience, with simplified navigation, clearer content hierarchy and more intuitive pathways to CEC’s products, member database, sector information and enquiry forms.
• Stronger brand positioning, with the new website more effectively communicating CEC’s scale, credibility, substance and position as a leader within the special economic zone and innovation ecosystem. 
• A more integrated digital experience, with refreshed email templates and campaign assets providing greater consistency between the website, lead-generation activity and ongoing marketing communications.

The project was managed in a highly collaborative and organised way. Team roles and responsibilities were clear from the outset, and weekly touchpoint calls kept the project moving, provided visibility on priorities and timelines, and created an effective forum for working through decisions as they arose. 

The team was consistently responsive and quick to address questions, feedback and changing needs throughout the project. Expectations were well managed on both sides, particularly around timelines, dependencies and the inputs required from CEC. 

We also appreciated that the relationship did not end at launch. The team will continue to provide responsive ongoing support as we refine the site, build out new content and optimise the platform over time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most was the team’s speed, clarity, and consistency. Communication was always direct and timely, expectations were well managed, and there were no surprises along the way. We always knew where the project stood, what was needed from us, and what to expect next.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CRO:NYX Digital could have done differently?

We were very satisfied with both the process and the outcome, and there are no significant areas we would identify for improvement. What we are most excited about now is continuing to build on the foundation that has been created. As more performance data becomes available, we look forward to working with CRO Digital to continue refining and improving the site based on their strategic advice, user behaviour and measurable results.
