Jason & his talented team of Creative Nomads designed and currently maintain our fabulous website. Additionally, they were heavily involved in the branding, logo, marketing content & continuing digital outreach to our customers and future customers.

I’m the CEO and founder of a data analytics and blockchain consulting firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with Creative Nomads?

We hired them to provide branding and marketing services. We recently evolved our services into Web3 and blockchain. Due to that evolution and a number of new contracts, we needed to update our brand with new logos, branding, and marketing material for social media. Our goal was to better engage with the Web3 market as influencers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We met with Creative Nomads in person to discuss our needs. They gave us free feedback on our marketing website, then created a plan for how they could help us improve it. They guided us through a questionnaire to identify our brand, what we wanted it to convey, and how it should relate to customers.

With that questionnaire complete, they leveraged their design and marketing strategies to build our branding kit, which included custom fonts, custom primary and secondary colors, a new logo with alternatives based on different backgrounds, and brand usage guidelines. They also delivered headers and logos for social media platforms.

Creative Nomads gave us guidance on how to increase our sales pipeline by improving our website’s lead capture capabilities and use of landing pages to track customer response. Whenever they gave us a deliverable, they told us how to leverage it based on our needs and support it via social media. We plan on engaging Creative Nomads to help us overhaul our marketing website on WordPress and hopefully to provide more help with our social media marketing.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three people from Creative Nomads: their founder and CEO, plus two designers and marketing experts.

How did you come to work with Creative Nomads?

We found Creative Nomads by researching them through their Facebook page after seeing one of their ads.

How much have you invested with them?

Their branding toolkit was a $5,000 flat fee. We’re still negotiating the hourly rate for ongoing work, but that’s likely to be about $40 an hour.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began this engagement on January 2022, and we have plans to continue the engagement.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve seen about a 70% increase in lead generation by implementing their feedback on how to promote our brand and leverage our landing pages. Creative Nomads definitely exceeded my expectations. I got more out of their branding kit than I thought they would deliver.

How did Creative Nomads perform from a project management standpoint?

From start to finish, their process was phenomenal. I’d give them a 100% score for project management and timeliness. We conducted initial meetings and large discussions in person. Outside of those meetings, we’ve communicated via email and phone calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re exceptionally tailored in their approach. The service they provided for us was not from a template that had been used over and over again — I’ve never felt like my competition could get the same advice from them. Their competitive advantage is that they’re very focused on providing a bespoke solution.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could offer more services. I’d love to leverage Creative Nomads for things like SEO and our regular newsletter marketing.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be overly descriptive about what you’re looking for. Their team is great at reading between the lines, so the more information you give Creative Nomads, the more closely they’ll be able to zone in on delivering exactly what you need.

Trust their process. Many times when I’ve given feedback on a deliverable, their CEO was quick to contact me directly to provide the rationale behind their decisions, sometimes explaining best practices and other parameters that I wasn’t aware of.
