I'm the CIO of a logistics and transportation company.

What challenges were you trying to address with Consware?

We had different projects with Consware, but for this particular one, we needed their team to lead our cloud migration and software development efforts.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We've kicked off our engagement with Consware through a global assessment of our needs and project goals. Upon finalizing our discussion, their team has devised custom agile methodologies and delegated tasks across different modules. Consware's team of developers continues to define technical requirements and work on initial design and development deliverables to accomplish our four existing modules. Our tech stack is currently comprised of .Net technologies, Microsoft, and Azure's cloud functionalities.

What was the team composition?

We work with around 10–12 resources, with Consware's general manager as our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Consware?

Consware's team was referred to us.

How much have you invested in them?

We've spent about $541,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement with Consware started in January 2021 and is expected to conclude by January–February 2023.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

There aren't any quantitative metrics to share at this point since the development phase is still ongoing. Our current KPIs revolve around quality and timeliness, and Consware meets these qualifications diligently.
How did Consware perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, and email and rely on Github and Azure for project management. What we appreciate about Consware's project management is their willingness to make things work. They also have a dedicated resource assigned to different pipelines, so there's always someone we can consult.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Consware has a tailored approach that stems from their industry experience and reliable knowledge in utilizing Azure tools.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We'll appreciate more resources in the project management pipeline, so developers and designers can focus on their own deliverables.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Assign an experienced member to handle the project and communicate with Consware's team.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

It is a project to be able to work online with the Station's suppliers so that we can see where each sale came from, what product, at what time and who shipped it. With the dashboard that CONSWARE made we can have reports on clients on credit, in cash, even applying incentive plans for our Track Representatives since it allows us to see all the sales data over time; whether on the day, week, month, etc. 
We can also do without manual reports since we have all shift closures in the Dashbard developed for us. This allows staff to leave earlier and have more time with their families. It makes our management easier for us as owners because the price programming is already programmed in advance and we do not have to be at the station at 5:00 am every 15 days, something that can even be dangerous for us. 
They are also carrying out connectivity between the electronic billing provider and the DGI, which is the entity in Panama that handles everything related to taxes and income statements.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We will see the results at the end of April when the pilot plan ends. But now we can see all the excellent advances we have had, which I mentioned in part 2 of this survey.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

It was excellent!!!! All staff are highly committed not only in the "WHAT" but in the "HOW". The schedule was fully met, our needs were met in a timely manner, whether in person, online, with their call center staff, video calls, etc Daluwi, Juan Carlos, Sharon, Natalia and Nicolas have excelled in attention, skills, expertise, kindness, etc. They are THE BEST!!!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

THE STAFF! That despite being so young, they know and do their job very, very well and have a HIGH COMMITMENT!!! That for me is unique. I feel that they work as if CONSWARE were their own company and that is difficult to achieve in a staff. In short THEY ARE THE GREATEST!!!!

Are there any areas for improvement or something Consware could have done differently?

I don't think so
