I am President and founder of ProportionFit, a health and wellness company focusing on weight loss and healthy weight maintenance.

For what projects/services did your company hire codExalters Techlabs, and what were your goals?

I needed to develop an interactive, engaging mobile app to help bring the ProportionFit concept to life for as many users as possible. I had a general idea of what I wanted to develop and I hired Codexalters to develop it. As the project progressed they made it even better than I imagined. I would come to them with a problem or an additional feature, and what I think would work, and they would make it happen within a day or two.

I had worked with them previously on a smaller project. They did a great job with that and so I approached them again with this larger project. They've been very flexible with making changes and the costs have been very reasonable. And the quality has been outstanding.

They have developed a highly interactive, user friendly App that will likely revolutionize weight loss and healthy eating.

I had a project manager and 2-3 other developers that helped bring this project to life.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

So far, the app has exceeded my expectations. They have over delivered.

Communication through Skype had been extremely easy and they have been very responsive. We've only needed 2-3 face to face (over Skype) meetings, the rest have been through written messages and notes, which has worked great as we are in time zones about 8 hours apart.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They follow the timelines and deliver quality work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Clearer billing and accounting would be helpful. Otherwise, all good.

Launching an interactive mobile platform allows which food lovers to get paired with their very own local chefs who will prepare ready-to-eat meals. Whether it’s on-demand delivery or home/event catering, our chef partners will prepare meals to meet customers time, food profile, and budget. Our platform also allows our chef partners to book/reserve commercial kitchen space from owners or master lessors looking share space while earning extra income. I am the founder and CEO.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to develop 6 customized mobile applications (3 Andriod & 3 iOs) in less than 6 months. Also to complete a website and a supporting admin panel.

We were in direct communication with the company owner and he had great business acumen. Very professional and you immediately felt that you could trust him and his team. Most importantly, after seeing samples of their work and we knew they were more than capable of doing the job.

Also offered support when modification is required in the app after available on App store. - Provides free support for configuring our server and uploading apps to Apple store or Play store account. - Provides unlimited revisions.

With the development of our technology platform, we are able to begin our soft launch to upload users, and later raise additional start-up capital. This project is the most important component of our business model, since we are a food-tech start up company.

Project management was coordinated via multiple channels which included Skype, Trello, and emails.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We are impressed by their pool of talent and their ability to turnaround deliverables quickly.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There are opportunities for improvement, specifically during the review phase of the development process. We suggest the initiation of a weekly client updates/debriefs, versus waiting on the client to request a meeting. This also helps with the management of client expectations. Alo helps with client engagement.
