We outsourced the technical development of one of our biggest customers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Coderland developed a full-stack application to track a delivery fleet. The main feature was a management board to track a fleet and all the fleet terminals connected in real-time.

We worked with 15 teammates from Coderland.

How did you come to work with Coderland?

We contacted them through a referral from someone who was working with them. We chose them because their top management team was really expert in this industry, and their technical skills were top-notch.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February–August 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Coderland delivered a working version of the application. The frontend was according to specs, and the sign-up and login were working. The database was according to specs, and the backend and database were connected. The fleet devices were connected, and the management dashboard was visible and fully working.

We tracked the registration of 100% of the fleet devices, the downtime of the tracking per each device, and the number of requests to the server.

How did Coderland perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered on time. The project management was great, and when there was a potential risk, the top management got involved and solved it in a very short time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed by how well they understood their business and the level of quality they provided to the key account manager we assigned to this project. They were very professional and told us in advance if something wasn't going the right way, which was really useful to mitigate risks beforehand.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They did pretty well. Maybe they could have had more staff working in my same time zone, but in the end, that wasn't a problem at all.

Their team conducted a thorough review of our codebase, meticulously identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks that were impacting our system. They analyzed our algorithms, data structures, and how different parts of our application interacted, pinpointing exactly where performance issues originated. Thanks to their actionable recommendations and the subsequent improvements implemented, our application is now noticeably faster, more responsive, and uses resources far more efficiently. This has translated directly into a much better user experience for our customers and has also helped us reduce our operational costs.

Coderland developed our website, presenting us with three design options. We selected one, which we then refined with their designer. They implemented it quickly and kept us updated on progress throughout the project. They also assisted us with Google campaigns and provided all project documentation upon completion. Currently, Coderland manages our website and handles any necessary changes.

Another project we've worked on with Coderland, and which we are still evolving, is the automation of our operations. As a small company, we used to manage everything in Excel. However, as we're a growing company, it became difficult to keep track of everything in Excel, especially the commercial side. Coderland performed an analysis of our operations and implemented this automation using Zoho. They delivered the analysis, documentation, and the implementation and customization of Zoho for our specific operations

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We received the website within the budgeted timeframe and they adhered to the budget. For the automation of our operations, they consistently met deadlines, were highly involved, and even advised us on how to develop certain modules. They didn't go over budget; in fact, they even provided us with some modules and changes that were not originally in scope. They are always open to collaboration.

The management was good; we always had bi-weekly follow-up meetings to review progress. When the project encountered any issues, they always informed us. If there was a delay in any delivery due to a blocker, the Project Manager would meet with us. Overall, it was a well-managed project.

We expect to start functional testing of the system in the coming weeks. We will evaluate the system's operability and effectiveness based on response times, error reduction, team adoption levels, data traceability, and compliance with clinical regulations.

How did Coderland perform from a project management standpoint?

Coderland's project management has been collaborative and responsive. Although the project isn't finished, they've been willing to adjust the development according to our needs. Currently, we're waiting for access to the tests, so we can't fully evaluate the timeline compliance.

The most impressive thing about working with Coderland has been their ability to adapt the development to our specific needs as a clinical research center. They've offered customized solutions and shown openness to technical and functional dialogue.

We believe the delivery of access for functional testing could have been managed with more clarity and coordination. We had aligned internal expectations to start that phase, and more precise communication about timelines would have allowed for better team preparation.
