Codepixel is a senior-led, AI-augmented software delivery agency built in Podgorica, Montenegro and Vancouver, Canada. We help founders, CTOs and product teams ship high-quality software fast, without compromising architecture, security or reliability.
Most teams choose between speed and quality. We are built to remove that trade-off. Every project runs through a senior triad: a Tech Lead, a Design Lead and a Product Lead, with engineers, QA and DevOps sized to the work. AI-augmented workflows run across discovery, design, build and QA. AI compresses the repetitive work. Senior people own architecture, security and every decision that affects what ships.
What we build:
Custom software development: SaaS and B2B platforms, internal tools, multi-tenant products with complex permissions
Web and mobile app development, including rebuilds of products a previous team left fragile
UX/UI design for complex web and mobile products
AI integration: in-product assistants, RAG search and workflow automation on top of existing products
MVP development: idea to a working product in 8 to 12 weeks, fixed scope
Software maintenance, DevOps and continuous development on retainer
8+ years, 60+ shipped projects, ~15 people. Delivery in high-trust domains: healthcare, education, government, media, e-commerce and marketplaces, including exam platforms and public-sector systems where failure has a real cost.
How engagements start: a 30 to 45 minute discovery call, then a paid scoping sprint of 1 to 3 weeks that ends with a backlog, architecture outline and budget range. Builds then run as fixed-scope projects, monthly retainers or a dedicated product team.
Core hours are Central European time: full working-day overlap with UK and EU teams and 4 to 5 hours of live overlap with the US East Coast. Documentation, tickets and decisions are all in English.
Codepixel offers competitive pricing and good value for cost, with projects typically ranging from $20,000 to $45,000. Clients appreciate their responsiveness and timely delivery, often highlighting successful outcomes and satisfaction with the quality of work provided.
While generally well-received, a few clients noted the need for improved attention to detail during the final phases of projects, such as bug-fixing. Addressing these could enhance overall project delivery.
Effective in Diverse Industry Applications
Codepixel's versatility is highlighted by their successful projects across diverse industries, including healthcare, education, government, and e-commerce. Their ability to tailor solutions to specific industry needs is a notable strength.
Commitment to Client Satisfaction
Codepixel's dedication to client success is evident in their willingness to go beyond mere requirements, offering suggestions and improvements. This client-centric approach fosters long-term partnerships and high client satisfaction.
Strong Project Management Skills
Clients consistently praise Codepixel's project management, noting their ability to meet deadlines, maintain clear communication, and manage tasks effectively. This ensures a smooth workflow and successful project outcomes.

Codepixel was hired to redesign and redevelop the website of a cruise travel agency. For this project, they used WordPress and the Booking Engine.
The website is in the final stages of production. The partnership with the client is seamless and they did not experience any interruptions in their workflow. Both parties are currently working on the best version of the platform
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am Marketing Manager at Allegra Cruises, travel agency that is specialized in cruise industry. Our company was established in 2010 in Montenegro, with offices in Bar, Kotor and Tivat and since 2016 in Belgrade, Serbia.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Codepixel?
We launched our company website in April 2017, with integrated booking engine, that included pricing and availability in real-time. Over the past couple years, as business started to grow, and many our passengers have used our booking engine, we started to see some disadvantages of current design, so we hire Codepixel for complete redesign of website, with added many CMS features.
What were your goals for this project?
Our main goal is to help our passengers with choosing the right cruise, so they can make a hassle-free booking and ease process for them and for the agency. Also, we wanted to share our knowledge to larger audience via blog articles and introduce them to cruises and cruise industry.
SOLUTION
How did you select Codepixel?
We made our first contact through a mutual friend from the IT industry and since then our communication has been excellent. I realized that we think similarly, that Codepixel works with modern technologies, that they are a young and ambitious team and considering that, our company made the decision easily.
Describe the project in detail.
The redesigned website will be a hybrid of the WordPress platform and the booking engine. The WordPress platform will be in charge of custom cruise packages, and the booking engine will display cruise offers directly from cruiselines. Because WordPress part of website and booking engine are hosted on different servers, the design will have to connect them into one whole Allegra Cruises website.
What was the team composition?
The team working on our project consisted of a front-end developer, a back-end developer, a UX/UI designer and a Project Manager. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, meetings were usually conducted via the Zoom platform, but we also visited their headquarters in Podgorica several times.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Due to coronavirus pandemic, we haven't launched website yet, so we have additional time to tweak it and make the best version of it. Right now, we are in final stage, where we are setting everything up and making plans for the launch.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We had a weekly Zoom meetings and email communication on daily basis. In addition to that, we had a couple major meeting in their office in Podgorica. There was no and downtime in workflow between our teams.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Codepixel is a team of young people, we are similar in age, and I was most impressed by the ease of communication between us. Also, each of our tasks were equally important to them. They approached it with the greatest possible attention.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I think there is always room for improvement, but at this point we have all given our maximum on the project and pulled the best out of all of us.

In order to meet the growing expectations of its members, a nonprofit partnered with CodePixel to develop a platform through which members can access their programs.
The company has received positive feedback since the launch of the project particularly regarding its design, ease of navigation, and mobile-friendliness. The team's expertise allowed the company to greatly improve the quality of the project with their timely suggestions.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
Organization of Montenegrins Studying Abroad (OMSA) is a non-political, non-profitable, and nongovernmental organization working on establishing the most complete and information-wise richest network of Montenegrins Studying Abroad (MSA), with the ultimate goal of creating a unified platform for MSA to collaborate and engage actively in global, regional, and local project activities.
OMSA was founded in December 2011, and with more than a thousand members and alumni, an active Point of Contact Network in 40 (groups of) countries. It is engaged in collaborative work on four different continents and in eight different time zones.
It supports the target MSA population estimated at 1300 students who are at the moment studying across the globe. I hold a position of Executive director.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Codepixel, and what were your goals?
Over the number of years, OMSA has grown considerably in terms of its member and alumni community. With that, naturally, has grown a demand for new and improved programs, and expectations have risen sharply.
In order to match the demand, Organization has continuously worked on creating and delivering new programs. As the Organization delivers programs across the globe, it uses its centralized platform for communication with its members, alumni and third parties (institutions, organizations, diaspora, media etc).
Our goal was to design and create a user friendly and modern web platform (desktop and mobile version) that will enable the Organization to efficiently communicate with its audience.
SOLUTION
How did you select Codepixel and what were the deciding factors?
We screened several vendors based on the offers we have received from them. All offers were created based on the ToR we have developed and sent to them.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Upon receiving the offer, we conducted few meetings with regard to the platform development. As our website contains rather a large amount of information, Codepixel helped us finalize ideas and structure of the site, and also suggested multiple changes that advanced users’ experience and the platform itself.
Upon finalizing the structure and providing info materials from our side, Codepixel presented us with few design mockups. After having chosen one, we received a UX/UI design for all the pages of the website within a reasonable time, including both the desktop and mobile version.
Although at first it seemed just like another info website, it turned out to be a platform containing multiple functions and features, and among others it includes:
info materials and presentation of the Organization;
news and articles divided into multiple categories;
clickable map of the world, with each country having its own page;
registration platform for three different types of users whose information is securely stored in a base;
multi-functional personal area for all registered users, including the possibility to edit their profiles, interact, read news only for registered users etc;
multilevel admin users, in line with our Privacy policy, that enables us to perform our work in much simple ways.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Project manager, project coordinator, designer, and two developers.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The new platform was launched in the first half of July, and we received a number of positive feedback from our audience, especially with regard to the new design, very friendly navigation and the fact the entire website is easily accessible from the phone.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Our communication flow was pretty smooth and fast.
Codepixel appointed one person on their behalf to communicate with one person on behalf of our team, and they kept in touch through online platforms (due to the lockdown) and also organized few meetings in person, when circumstances permitted.
Codepixel ensured that we were consulted on each detail in advance and they performed their work in a very professional manner.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Although we first thought that we had developed all materials needed for the website, it turned out we were just half way through it. Codepixel suggested to us a number of changes that improved the original idea, and they showed great flexibility for our needs.
During the corona virus outbreak in Montenegro everything closed temporarily, but they kept working on our platform and were coming up with solutions for a number of challenges.
A particular aspect, in addition to the neat work they did, is that they showed great interest into the meaningful success of our platform, as they were ensuring that every single detail (even small things like the confirmation e-mail for registered users) was taken care of.
Their knowledge, skills and attitudes are something that will keep us working with them. I recommend Codepixel to anyone who is looking for a team of people that will bring their idea into reality in a professional, fast and thoughtful way.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
UNDP works in about 170 countries and territories, helping to achieve the eradication of poverty, and the reduction of inequalities and exclusion. We help countries to develop policies, enhance institutional capacities to assure sustainable development. UNDP also supports CSOs, encourages leaderships, partnerships in order to sustain development results.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Codepixel?
The COVID-19 pandemic has severely disrupted the normal functioning of populations around the world and threaten the health of all, but women and girls are disproportionately affected. As communities around the world are forced to stay at home, women and girls are at a heightened risk of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and other forms of sexual and gender-based violence.
Because pandemic exacerbate pre-existing gender inequities and power hierarchies, violence in the home may worsen as prolonged quarantine and economic stressors increase tension in the household. Women and girls are isolated from the people and resources that can help them, and they have few opportunities to distance themselves from their abusers. Here, technological solutions could be of great help. In order to assure swift support to victims of GBV mobile application "Be Safe" has been developed.
What were your goals for this project?
The main goal was to design and create a simple user-friendly, SOS mobile application for iOS and Android, with the possibility of triggering swift connection with National SOS helpline via text message with a precise geo-location.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
We already collaborated with Codepixel in the past. They have a good track record and good reviews of other clients, Moreover, possibility of working on a tight schedule was additional reasoning.
Describe the project in detail.
Upon TOR developed for the provider started intensive work with Codepixel with series of online discussions of the goal of the project in the context of remote work and lockdown of the country due to pandemic that was in its peak. We received the first UX/UI design mockups within 2 days.
Codepixel offered excellent framework that was talked trough in a spirit of good partnership and mutual understanding that resulted with fast solutions finding for different key functionalities, such as connecting the SMS service with the in-app alert button for bringing immediate help to the victims. They also created multi-language features for two languages.
As soon as we started to work with Codepixel we got into a series of online calls to discuss the goal of the project because remote work was at its peak. All following UNDP requests have been met:
women friendly app
non-sexist design
matches women's autonomy preserved proces
provides number of opportunities for support to victim of GBV
reduced internet-depandanse
What was the team composition?
Project manager, Project coordinator, designer, developer and project analyst.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The app has already gained massive traction among the potential victims of domestic violence. It reached close to 5 thousand downloads in less than 10 days, with an average rating 4.6 for both iOS and Android combined.
We received quite a lot of positive feedback from other UNDP and UN Women offices in the neighbouring countries, and they have shown interest in adopting the app for those countries as well.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The communication was easy and fast. Because of the pandemic we used only online communication resources like Zoom and Viber. Codepixel performed with high flexibility and extraordinary client oriented service delivery.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We were impressed with the speed with which the work was carried out, handling all the features and optimization. Also we would like to note their comprehensive awareness, assistance in documentation regarding legal aspects and privacy policy.
We are grateful for their commitment, patience, professionalism, and understanding. We will continue to collaborate with them.

Packages we offer:
Product UX/UI design
Senior product design, scoped and priced before we start. A senior product designer, your Design Lead for the engagement, does the work; a Tech Lead checks every screen is buildable and a Product Lead keeps the scope honest. Flows, UI, a design system and a clickable prototype your engineers build from. No juniors, no hourly meter.

AI integration for a live product
Add an assistant, search or automation to a product that already has users, without disturbing the core. A senior AI engineer builds it, a Tech Lead owns the architecture and guardrails, QA tests the answers. Prices cover the scope in each tier, confirmed in writing first. Shipped behind a feature flag you control. We never train on your data.

Software maintenance and support
Senior care for a product that is already live, with an agreed set of monthly hours and a named Tech Lead. Three sizes, from light care at 30 hours a month to half a senior engineer with QA and DevOps behind it. A written report every month: what shipped, what broke, what it cost. The same squad scales up to a full engineer or a dedicated team.

Our Story
Codepixel is a senior-led, AI-augmented software delivery agency built in Podgorica and Vancouver. We started in 2018 as a small frontend team. The products got more complex, so we grew into a full product and engineering partner: school systems, pharma supply chains, a national census portal. AI removes the busywork. Seniors decide what ships. The founders still run sales and engineering. 8+ years, 60+ projects, ~15 people, kept at that size on purpose.
Meet the Team
Mihailo RaspopovicCEO
Co-founder and CEO. Runs sales, positioning and delivery. The first call is with him or another senior lead. He was product owner on Simple Pharma and Work and Grow. His job: what that call promised still holds in month twelve.
Nenad PejovicCTO
Co-founder and CTO. Codepixel's CEO from 2018 to 2024, now on architecture and AI-augmented engineering. 100+ products shipped across government, healthcare, pharma and SaaS. Often on the first call when the scope is technical or the question is AI.
What Sets Us Apart
Senior squads, no junior factory
A senior triad leads every build: a Tech Lead, a Design Lead and a Product Lead. Engineers, QA and DevOps are sized to the work. You work directly with the people who make the calls. Senior people lead and do the core work.
AI-augmented, human-led delivery
AI does the repetitive work under a published AI Use Policy. Tools that do not train on your data. No production secrets in prompts, customer data pseudonymised first. AI-assisted PRs are disclosed and human-reviewed. Or opt out of AI in the SOW.
What happens after launch
You choose. Many clients keep us on retainer to operate it: monitoring, backups, security hardening, scoped up front. Or we hand over with documentation and runbooks. Our longest engagement, a UK school platform, started in March 2020.
