To build Dating App was really a thrilling and challenging project of my life. There are various dating apps available in the market. Dating apps are the new trends, inspiring and demanding. Truly speaking before connecting with Code Brew Labs I was confused about taking a risk of building Dating app. I roped in with Code Brew Labs a few months ago. The team welcomed my project idea with full enthusiasm. Oh! That's amazing! I thought. I was astonished by their vivacity.

Our web project was supposed to be finished in March 2021, after following up we were told that the COVID situation caused delays, we then both decided to accelerate the project so that it's ready in May 2021, this also didn't work. We are now six months into the project and still have no promise to get our project launched, even after paying over a 4,000 USD deposit.

We were promised daily/weekly updates but did not receive this, we would be given feedback only after following up with emails. They always asked us to send them a document with all changes required on the project and would sometimes make one change, after then drag the project for weeks without an update.

Their sales lady communication and their development capability are based on their past projects.

They should have never sold us a project they were not ready to deliver. They should try and be honest to manage client expectations at all times.

What challenge were you trying to address with Code Brew Labs?

We hired Code Brew Labs to help us build a mobile app for our business. We were operating offline before, but with everything becoming technology-based these days, people don't really interact with offline businesses anymore. We wanted to increase our reach and potential with the target audience available worldwide, which is why we decided to optimize our services and go online. We’re still brand new, but we’re now operating online with their help.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Code Brew Labs helped us create an app available for Android and iOS. One of its key features was the pickup and delivery arrangement. Our aim as a company was to let the client know what, how, and at what time they were getting their product. 

The development system of Code Brew Labs helped the app to be more precise and have a detailed targeting orientation, in order for us to narrow down the targeted audience. That way, whenever we wanted to ship something like a kilogram of almonds that a company ordered, the app would help us track the order from point A to point B. 

The collaboration went very smoothly. They did most of the research themselves to deliver the work as precisely as I wanted it. Their sales department contacted me and shared the live demo of the app, which I was quite satisfied with, so we started the project on that basis. They started with the design development of the app screen, and we developed 40–50 mobile app screens for me to implement in the app. Afterward, they worked on the development process, and they used Flutter as the coding language.

There were six people assigned to the project. There were two designers, three developers, and one project manager.

I did some research on Google, looking for development companies when I found Code Brew Labs. I chose the company based on the services, the deliveries of the projects that they said they did, and the reviews they had.

We invested $7,500.

We started working in October 2020, and the app was completed in February 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Code Brew Labs delivered their work on time and with fewer bugs. They were quite sharp with the results; everything was on point. 

We’ve also had really good feedback from the clients. Some of them have told us that our services are really good, and we've gotten more exposure out of the app. We got new prospects, and out of those prospects, we got new clients who have helped our business to grow in the Middle East.

How did Code Brew Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated through phone calls. Code Brew Labs was pretty good and never skipped any deadline. Their mobile design was very good, as well as their project manager. They offered a couple of solutions for our required features, which addressed some of the problems we were facing as a company. That motivated me to leave this review.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Code Brew Labs delivered good quality content, and their app was neat and detailed. Their operation management and everything else we worked on went smoothly. 

From my experience working with several companies, I was usually quite disappointed with the deliveries and the apps or their deadlines. These companies wouldn’t meet on time and their designs wouldn’t be accurate nor would they ask the right questions to fill our app development needs. Code Brew Labs differentiates from others because of how they handled the problems, how they took care of the business, and how they met the deadlines with perfect timing and delivery. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I'm actually quite happy with the service, and I can’t think of anything they could do better. Everything was very good. 

Any advice for potential customers?

Be very straightforward about what you want and your need because this company takes everything into consideration, and every little detail matters. They deliver at the exact timing and metric that you give them. For example, if you say you want the color brown in your design, be specific in which tone of brown you want, because they’ll implement it in a very accurate way.
