Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the founder of WeGoClean. It's a mobile application separate in 2 apps. The concept is the same as Uber but for cleaning services. One App for Client and One App for Cleaners. Client can order cleaning and they will get connected to a cleaners in their area.

For what projects/services did your company hire CODE ALCHEMY?

I had problems with my previous developper and i was really desparate to find a team i could count on. Code Alchemy really took the project in charge and complete all the work and updates i needed for the launch of my app.

What were your goals for this project?

New app functionnality , Updates , Bugs fixing.

SOLUTION

How did you select CODE ALCHEMY?

I was searching for developpers with experience. One of their team member sent me their portfolio. They offer me to start with one minor bugs fix to see if i like the way they work. Then i truly fell in love with the service.

The project was to add new functionnality. New ui experience for client New options like get me there button Aditionnal info Bugs fix on both app client and cleaners registration process on both app

What was the team composition?

I was able to speak to Mahendra all the team. 100% fluid communication. They are always there to listen to my needs. Service delivery very fast. He always offer new ideas and things that will help our business

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Because or Covid-19 we had to delay our launch. But since the launch we had a couple of client wich prove that they app concept and new functionnality works !

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was very effective. Mahendra answer always in the next hour or less. We schedule weekly phone meetings to keep us up to date and to make sure there was not communication problems.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They really care for the clients. For exemple , some things was not "pixel" perfect or the user interface had some visual issues. And they offered me to fix it and always let me know what is the best for me instead of just doing what i need they always overdeliver

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not really i was really satisfied. You can find our app on apple store named WeGoClean. I will continue to work with them .

I’m the founder and CEO of a software development house. We’re in the business of making small software apps.

What challenge were you trying to address with CODE ALCHEMY?

I brought them on to handle all of my mobile app development efforts.

What was the scope of their involvement?

CODE ALCHEMY handles my mobile development services. They’ve built two apps for us so far. I outsource my iOS development to them, and they build features like sign-up, log-in, and notifications. Users can also chat and text on the platforms.

What is the team composition?

I work with two team members.

How did you come to work with CODE ALCHEMY?

I interviewed 6–7 developers. I didn’t want to hire an agency, but rather individual developers. I hired someone from CODE ALCHEMY’s team on an individual basis. Later, I found out that he was part of their company.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started in June 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality is decent, and I have a process to QA the work. We work together very well. I have no complaints, and I trust them with all things iOS.

How did CODE ALCHEMY perform from a project management standpoint?

In my role, I handle all project management, sprints, and deliverables. I decide what needs to be done, the sequence, and execution. If something needs to be fixed, it goes back to their team, otherwise, we move on.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their behavior, professionalism, demeanor, and communication are all excellent. There have been no balls dropped on what has been said and what’s been understood. I enjoy working with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

iOS work is akin to frontend development. Because of that, there’s a strong need for a vision in regard to design. In this engagement, I’ve had to bring the design skills externally; I’ve been doing the design work myself.

CODE ALCHEMY is extremely proficient in engineering for iOS; however, I’d recommend they improve their in-house design resources. Also, it’d be beneficial if they became a full end-to-end service provider.
