Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Director of Xequals. Xequals is a creative agency and software production company specialising in open source solutions, SaaS platforms, mobile applications and digital R&D.

For what projects/services did your company hire CLVR Cloud Ltd?

CLVR Cloud Ltd provided cloud, devops, software-scaling and application development consulting. It was a holistic IT consulting engagement to audit an existing project and provide recommendations on where to take it so that it could complete its potential and strategic objectives.

What were your goals for this project?

Re-architect an ambitious digital platform to be appropriate for a large global audience and heavy usership. Our goal was to re-engineer an App to be fit for enterprise-grade engagements and global consumption.

How did you select this vendor?

CLVD Cloud was known to us through its amazing reputation in Wellington as a cutting edge software consultant on the bleeding edge of technology. We met, got to know each other, and decided that working with CLVR was the best chance we had to make our project successful.

Describe the project in detail.

I cannot describe the project in detail due to NDA requirements. But I can see it was a large, ambitious mobile application development project that included cloud technologies, APIs, video streaming, and all the normal ins and outs of a big software project.

What was the team composition?

The team included one project manager, three developers, a UIUX specialist and the CLVR senior consultant.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The re-archtiecture of the platform was a success and ended up going to market. Many of the strategic goals were accomplished and we were able to complete an ambitious software build using a small team and CLVR approaches.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. CLVR seamlessly integrated with our existing development team and instantly achieved rapport with the other technical staff. CLVR was sensitive to our internal realities and carefully structured an engagement that was tailored to our requirements.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The talent of the people at CLVR blew us away. They are highly experienced senior consultants with an enormous amount of hands-on knowledge about technology. So many consultants in this industry are full of hot air, ego and false-confidence when it comes to what they know.

But CLVR actually walk the talk and can back up everything they say with experience, working knowledge, and deep technical understanding. I would highly recommend CLVR to anyone who is neding straight-forward, experienced, no-nonsense technology consulting and strategy.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We were very happy with CLVR's work and what they added to our project. There is no real area for improvement I could identify. I strongly recommend CLVR's services to others and think they have some of the best people in the industry.
