Scope of Work:

Byteminds developed a SaaS platform from scratch for planning, tracking, and analyzing the training process in youth football teams. The platform includes an interactive calendar for scheduling, templates for managing a structured database of training drills, sessions, and microcycles, as well as integration with third-party services and a feedback collection system.

The development team handled the full scope of work, covering both frontend and backend development. They were responsible for architecture design, implementation, and ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.

The team delivered all tasks on time and maintained clear alignment on goals and priorities throughout the project. They showed great attention to our feedback and requests, responded quickly, and addressed bugs promptly. The developers demonstrated deep involvement and a solid understanding of the project’s objectives. Communication was transparent, and the budget was managed with precision.

What impressed us most was the team's deep domain understanding and their ability to transform a complex sports-related vision into a functional and user-friendly SaaS platform. Their proactive communication, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to the project went far beyond a typical development partner. They didn’t just write code — they thought strategically with us at every stage.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Byteminds could have done differently?

There were a few minor challenges during the process, but we always resolved them together quickly and constructively. There were no major issues, so it's hard to point out any areas that would need significant improvement.

KIFFIX engaged Byteminds to redevelop the frontend of our existing web-based software which is currently in use by KIFFIX customers and in essence is the core KIFFIX product.

The main goal and outcome of the project was to have the ability to develop the product on its own codebase, with a beautiful new UI.

KIFFIX engaged Byteminds for defining, developing, testing and launching this product.

The product interface now works on 100% its own codebase

We did not have a project manger for this project; however the team were well organised, and delivered regular sprints, and sprint demonstration and planning sessions.

I think had the project been larger, a Project Manager would be essential.

ByteMinds provides technical development expertise in building websites. It gives us the opportunity to focus more on business growth, brand strategy, building the architecture of brand experience, and creating an amazing user experience. Together with Byteminds, we have created several large and complex sites. We continue servicing these sites, providing the necessary SLA for the clients' business.

Each of our projects may have different business goals. But the goal of working with Byteminds is to keep the quality of development work is at a very high level, and launch the projects fast and efficiently.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found Byteminds on the recommendation of our colleagues in the digital industry. Before that, we worked with different partners for a long time, but there were difficulties, the quality of development suffered, and there were issues in understanding the tasks and responsibilities of the developers. We were looking for a development company which we can rely on.

We realized that it would be problematic for us to grow if we didn't have a dedicated development partner, that's why we have chosen ByteMinds. We didn’t have time for a long onboarding of developers, we needed an independent team right away, which would show amazing results from the first project

Byteminds team launched many large sites together with us, providing the required level of front-end and back-end code quality. Most of our clients are well-known companies - leaders in the industry. And we needed to create not just good websites, they had to be flawless. Another service Byteminds helped us provide is application management (the dedicated team can maintain up to 10 sites on 2 technology stacks - PHP and . Net)

Byteminds's dedicated team consist of a team leader, 2 backend developers, 1 frontend developer and QA. If necessary, Byteminds is always open to expanding the team and can quickly find additional resources for new projects.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We gained confidence in a developer partner, we were able to win several large projects, and continue to develop relationships with these clients.  

We were also able to implement more systematic processes in the application management service.

Woven has in-house project managers and account directors responsible for project requirement gathering, communication with the client and top-level control of the project. On the ByteMinds side, we are interacting with the client services director and team leaders. They take care of the team management, control of the scope, budget and timeline, and all the paperwork.

We consider this way of working fairly effective, Bytemind takes the lion's share of management tasks off our manager's shoulders (especially solving technical issues). It enables our team to focus more on client success development

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality of work is very high and we love the high level of transparency and openness that we have in terms of scoping work and allocation of budget. They have proven to be a reliable and highly effective partner. We have found them flexible and extremely helpful.

Director of Microfinance company Lime Loans South Africa (Pty) Ltd. Our company is a member of the group of companies which issues loans online in several countries around the world.

For what projects/services did your company hire Byteminds, and what were your goals?

ByteMinds developed all online loan services for us. Together with the ByteMinds team, we worked on a service in South Africa in 2016.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have been working with ByteMinds from the very beginning - from the launch of our first online lending service. The same team then developed Lime Loans services for RSA.

Lime in South Africa works on the same way as our other services. The client registers and fills out the questionnaire, attaches the necessary documents, and the system analyzes the received data, checks the client's solvency. After that, a decision is made whether to issue a loan or not, and the interest rate is calculated. If the client is reliable, the money is transferred to his bank account on the day of the application. The service automatically draws up loan agreements. The client can repay the loan and receive a document on closing the debt using our service.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

From our side, the Managing Director in South Africa, analysts and marketing specialists participated in the project. The development was carried out by the ByteMinds team. The team shape was five back-end developers and two front-end developers. After launching the service, we involved both our developers and ByteMinds developers to create new functionality.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We entered a new market and quickly launched an online loan service in South Africa with the help of ByteMinds team in 2016. This was the main goal of the project.

Project management was organized according to the usual process for us. The project leads from our and from the Byteminds side were constantly in touch with each other. Together they formed lists of tasks, distributed them over two-week sprints. Jira was used as a planning tool. At the end of each sprint, the developers made a short presentation where they demonstrated the results of their work. Deadlines were respected, all comments and wishes were taken into account. In general, we are pleased with the way ByteMinds has organized the process of working with us. The team was always in touch. We used Slack to communicate more efficiently.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We launched a new service in South Africa in less than three months. The ByteMinds developers worked quickly and efficiently.
