• We were looking to improve our marketing performance, so we hired Buzz for their SEO services. Since we started out with zero SEO presence, we wanted to create an SEO campaign and understand our target demographic. Moreover, we wanted to have a geographic presence for one of our services. Our company specialized in sustainable investing, so we needed to rank for that in three geographic areas.

Buzz initially conducted an audit to assess our current situation, which we then discussed in detail. Together, we determined what changes could be implemented, what tasks they could manage, and what needed to remain as is. From there, we began collaborating on SEO initiatives.  

They’ve been instrumental in helping me understand SEO and have provided valuable recommendations for improvements. While some changes are straightforward to implement on the backend, we have to ensure that every suggestion complies with business regulations. Our internal team handles content creation to maintain authenticity and alignment with our brand voice, but Buzz consistently offers feedback to help us optimize that content.  

Although we’ve considered PPC, our team isn’t ready to pursue it yet, so our focus remains on SEO. That said, the engagement continues to evolve. We’re exploring ways to pivot the collaboration to better meet our needs while we shift our focus to other priorities for the rest of the year.

We’ve noticed an increase in website traffic, and our site now appears on the first page of search results for specific keywords. This is the outcome that matters most to us.

Buzz's project management is exceptional, and we’ve never exceeded our budget. They work with a variety of businesses, including dental care providers, landscapers, and software companies. While they could apply the same SEO strategies across all industries, they don’t. Instead, they tailor their approach to each client’s needs and are highly supportive of our SEO learning journey.  

Additionally, the team is receptive to pushback, whether it's letting them know we can’t implement a suggestion or providing feedback on their deliverables. If we don’t like a particular version of their work, they’re open to revising it. Through this collaboration, I’ve gained valuable insights and learned how to be a better SEO client.
