I’m the business manager at an automotive parts company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Business Optimizer?

We were looking to grow our business fast, and we needed help in marketing and advertising.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Business Optimizer was our digital marketing partner. They handled our ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube and managed our SEO efforts on Google. In addition, their team set up our email marketing campaigns and conducted lead generation. They also redesigned our Shopify website from scratch.

We worked with Justin (Founder & CEO) and two other teammates. 

How did you come to work with Business Optimizer?

We met Justin at a local event. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent close to $80,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2017–January 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Business Optimizer’s efforts helped us increase our sales and streamlined our operations. They made our website nicer and more effective in converting. 

How did Business Optimizer perform from a project management standpoint?

Business Optimizer was great at project management. Their team was communicative, and everything was moving quickly — we didn’t have to wait for their output. Additionally, Justin was personable and proactive. We spoke through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Business Optimizer’s passion and transparency were impressive. They were also honest and genuinely interested in helping our company instead of just taking our money. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. We were happy with the results we got. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open to communicating — the more you do that, the more they’ll be involved in the project.

We wanted to have a better website and web presence. We also wanted to have a good representation of the quality of services that we were offering.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Business Optimizer is implementing updates and improvements on our website. One of the updates they’ve done is the integration of Instagram under our profile portfolio page. They’ve also separated all of our different services and created a review page on our side to immediately funnel some of the reviews to Google. Overall, they ensure that our site’s performance and visibility are good.

What is the team composition?

We’re primarily working with Justin (Founder & CEO).

How did you come to work with Business Optimizer?

We found them 4–5 years ago, and they reached out to us.

How much have you invested with them?

We're currently paying them $1,250 a month. Previiously, we paid them an initial fee of $5,000 and a $200 monthly fee.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in January 2016, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve gotten increased leads through the website. They’ve been producing high-quality work.

How did Business Optimizer perform from a project management standpoint?

They have a perfect management process, and they’re good at meeting deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their overall web development work over the last few years has been phenomenal. Their customer service skills and their ability to innovate have been a great contribution to the engagement.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear with what your goals are and what you’re looking for. If you’re good with that, you’re going to get exactly what you want.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They reached out to me, sort of a cold call, and seemed like they were determined to make my website better.

Completely revamp the website and integrate it with our social media platforms and our project management software.

Justin and Josh so far.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I am busier than ever and I can't keep up with all of the potential leads coming in the door.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Communication via email and Basecamp. They check up every month and are very timely.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were able to do everything we requested.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing that I can think of.
