I am an international communications manager at a mining and metals company called Ternium.

What challenges were you trying to address with Buenavista AD SAS?

We’re working with them on numerous projects involving the creation of our landing pages and marketing campaigns, as well as social media management, design, and other development projects. The goal is to allow our clients to access information related to our products and inform them about new projects and many other things.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Buenavista AD SAS helps us with everything related to corporate identity, web development, among other things. For our landing pages, they use WordPress to create them.

What was the team composition?

We work with about 10 people from their team, including the general manager, graphic designers, web designers, and more.

They were referred to us.

We’ve spent between $10,000–$50,000 USD.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Buenavista AD SAS in January 2014, and we continue to work with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been getting good feedback about the website, and they continue to add new features based on our client’s suggestions. Overall, we are pretty satisfied with their work.

How did Buenavista AD SAS perform from a project management standpoint?

They are very professional — we’ve never had any issues with deadlines. We’re also able to contact them at any time, and they’ll respond right away. We use Microsoft Teams to communicate and we have in-person meetings every once in a while.

What did you find most impressive about them?

For me, web design and making creative campaigns are their biggest strengths. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’d like to have a closer accompaniment in terms of content.

Make sure you have meetings or workshops so that you can define your needs clearly, and they can offer the best strategies for you.

What challenge were you trying to address with Buenavista AD SAS?

We needed help in website development and design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Buenavista AD SAS has been our website development provider for the past 15 years. They’ve built our website and implemented updates and changes every year to keep up with our annual theme. 

We give Buenavista AD SAS an idea of what we want to see on the site. After that, they’ll conduct research, submit their recommendations, seek our approval, and implement changes on the website. After each project, they’ll maintain the site for the next 3–4 months, and we won’t touch it again until next year.

In addition, Buenavista AD SAS is conducting cybersecurity measures on the site and managing its hosting. They’re constantly finding new ways to make our site user-friendly. 

Last year, we’ve asked Buenavista AD SAS to build a new tab on the site that allows users to create their dashboard. They’ve created its functionality and designed its look and feel.

What is the team composition?

We usually work with their owner, a developer, and a designer. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since February 2007, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our website has received positive feedback from users due to its features and ease of use. It’s running smoothly, and we’re delighted with Buenavista AD SAS’ deliverables. I’m mostly satisfied with their work, and they’ve met my expectations. 

How did Buenavista AD SAS perform from a project management standpoint?

Buenavista AD SAS always tries to make the project work within our budget — they’ve been very flexible. We communicate through emails, virtual meetings, and Smartsheet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with how Buenavista AD SAS works out solutions to accommodate our needs. Whenever we encounter problems, they come up with user-friendly solutions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, Buenavista AD SAS’ deliverables come a little bit delayed, and we have to adjust our timeframes. Other than that, we’re satisfied with their work.

Give them all your specifications so they can get a better understanding of your needs.
