Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We hired B&T Lab to design and develop a mobile app targeting electronics students, which provides regular quizzes to measure their knowledge. During the concept approval phase, B&T Lab prepared a clickable prototype to showcase potential features. After approval, based on the initially agreed MVP features and the branding we provided, B&T Lab prepared user flows, UX and UI, and developed a second clickable prototype with the target UI. 

Once the look-alike prototype was approved, the development phase began, and within eight sprints, the pilot version of both the mobile app and admin panel was built. Once a stable app with clickable content was available, a team of UX researchers conducted a usability test on the target audience. Based on the results, the app was updated by the developers and designers to meet user needs. Key deliverables included:

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• B&T Lab delivered everything, and now the project is ready to move to the next stage. We have the MVP version of the app developed and tested by the client, with positive feedback from users during the first usability tests. The product is well-perceived by the end customer. Now it's time to onboard real users, launch MVP testing, and continue developing other features for the full product launch.

BnT demonstrated excellent skills in delivering items on time, their ability to meet deadlines ensures smooth progress throughout the project. Their responsiveness to our and the clients needs was exceptional and they consistently demonstrate a high level of attentiveness. 

Prompt action was taken from the side of the Lab whenever needed. The team is totally professional and maintains open lines of communication during the whole delivery of the app.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stands out as the most impressive and unique about the B&T Lab is the total precision, flexibility and absolute mastery of development skills. The attention to detail on both the development and the project management side is amazing and can in my opinion only deliver high-quality results. 

They adapted to any changing requirements demonstrating their ability to think outside the box and finding solutions. It was a pleasure to work with the team.

B&T Lab was hired to develop a solution for reprogramming racing cars to operate on the 5G mobile network within the Vodafone zone during an international event. The goal was to showcase the speed and latency of the 5G network, communicate Vodafone’s position as a leader in technology and innovation, and create a fun and engaging experience for our audience.

As a main partner of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF), Vodafone wanted to create an enjoyable experience to showcase 5G technology in the Vodafone Zone. We engaged B&T Lab to help us achieve this. The solution involved organizing a car race that operated on our 5G mobile network. 

B&T Lab reprogrammed 1/10 scale RC cars, replacing the original receiver with a mini computer running a custom application that controlled the steering servo and speed control unit. They developed a native app and a user interface (UI) for controlling the car using a mobile phone, with another phone attached to the car for video streaming. The cars were configured to run on both the mobile private network (MPN) and the 5G network. 

Once the prototype was approved, the solution was rolled out to all the cars. Additionally, B&T Lab provided consultation on the design of the racing track. During the event, the developers were present on-site to set up the technical aspects of the experience and support the racing team. The key deliverables included the solution itself, a prototype, and the deployment of a set of racing cars and mobile phones controlled by the 5G and private mobile networks, all branded under Vodafone.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• During the KVIFF, the public network experienced a 300% increase in traffic.
• Over 11,000 people visited the Vodafone Zone. 
• Our race cars covered a distance of more than 90 km. 
• We received over 700,000 social media impressions within just 7 days.
• Despite being initially planned for a single event, the project's success led to the racing cars being utilized in additional events, including company-wide internal conferences, Prague Pride, and technological business conferences.

Their project management was highly effective. Throughout the execution process, we had direct communication with the developer, who was very attentive and even provided support at other events. We are extremely satisfied with our collaboration. 

Despite time constraints, B&T Lab delivered on time, even when faced with challenging deadlines. Furthermore, the technical team went above and beyond by attending the events to set up the environment and ensure everything functioned smoothly. We were impressed by their efficiency and dedication to delivering a flawless end experience.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were particularly impressed by B&T Lab's ability to deliver a highly customized solution under time pressure while effortlessly solving complex problems. In essence, their efficiency and speed were truly remarkable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something B&T lab could have done differently?

Initially, the end solution was tailored specifically for one event, which was successfully achieved. However, now that the product has been expanded for use in multiple events, enhancing the application's usability would be beneficial, enabling easy adoption. This aspect could potentially be addressed as a second phase of the project.
