Brackets was hired to design, build and optimize a SaaS platform integrated with device manufacturers and serving medical providers and their patients.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

This vendor had already been selected prior to my joining the company. We continue to work with Brackets due to their knowledge of the platform, cost of services, continued progress on the solution, and the relationship we have developed.

We are now at the point where we tend to work with a team of 7-9 depending upon project needs. 1 QA 1 PM 1 Systems Security 5 - 7 Developers

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to run alpha and beta testing through 2021 and release commercially in early 2022. Customer feedback has been strong and we continue to grow as we gain market exposure.

We use a combination of Jira and Excel to track deliverables and hold a daily management meeting over zoom to ensure we are staying on top of critical items.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Brackets has been growing with us as a company and is flexible enough to support us through all phases of development. From initial design/build, through testing, into commercialization and regulatory compliance.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Brackets, like us, is a growing company and has been learning with us along the way. They have a drastically improved revision control process and I believe they are now in a better position to provide expertise in critical areas including encryption, regulatory compliance (SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA, etc.), and adherence to internally standardized coding best practices.

Brackets helped us automate manual team workflows, which increased their efficiency. By connecting data across various systems, reporting became more streamlined. The patient experience evolved from simple to sophisticated because we were more easily able to personalize their journey using what we know about them.

Brackets integrity and trustworthiness is absolutely first class.  In an industry where using overseas developers can bring some nerves, they do a great job of dispelling a lot of doubts.

We have both been on a learning curve throughout this 2 year project and have improved on any weaker areas, and adaptability is paramount in this industry.
