We believe in basing design responses on strong thinking and base our design work on a robust workshop that will enlighten, explore and direct the design work as well as guide discussion and provide a strategic framework in the form of an outcomes report. These will be conducted in person or online over several hours with participant levels agreed. Participants can include management, staff, trustees, stakeholders and customers. This will be professionally created to exacting standards by our highly qualified designers using our tried and tested 3-step design process detailed on the previous sheet “Design Process.” As you will see from our website portfolio, our work is consistently to a very high standard.

We aim to flexible as possible when it comes to client projects, however here are some rough time lines. Branding Project: 6 - 8 Weeks Website Design and Development: 3 Months Animation: 3 Months (based on a 2-3 minutes length)

Consultation This will include the scoping, the brand workshop and any follow-up sessions. A workshop outcomes report will be produced from this session which will be reviewed and signed-off before design work begins. Project Management systems Bold Studio employs a range of systems and personnel to ensure client work is delivered on time and with the highest quality. The main points of contact for the project will be our Creative Director, Doug Summers and our Studio Co-ordinator, Sarah Jefferies. Initial Brief Our process starts with scoping calls and a workshop led by the Creative Director and Studio Co-ordinator. From these discussions, we create a detailed brief and workplan outlining all specifications and deliverables, this is then assigned a unique job number. Clients have the opportunity to review and amend the brief before work officially begins. Podio Our main project management tool is Podio, which handles our timesheets, finances, and expenses for each job. Timesheets are automatically tallied at the end of each month to ensure projects stay within their time limits. We will typically specify or agree a number of revisions at the start of each project with two being standard. Scheduling and Communication For scheduling, we use Asana. Asana serves as our Kanban system, moving jobs from the quote stage to design, approval, and invoicing. By leveraging various plugins, we can assign designers a checklist of deliverables for each project, which is reviewed in our weekly traffic meetings. Microsoft Teams is our main communication tool. Through Teams, we can arrange virtual meetings for individual projects or schedule weekly meetings for larger projects to ensure they stay on track. As a client, you can request jobs through various channels of your choosing. Those familiar with Teams may wish to set up a dedicated channel for requests.

We aim to maintain clear communication with our clients from the initial meeting through to the delivery of final assets and ongoing support. Each project is structured into surveys, workshops, stylescapes, and two rounds of design, during which clients are invited to provide feedback to ensure their expertise and insight are considered at every stage. We also offer training for certain projects, such as websites and Canva. For larger projects, we can arrange weekly or fortnightly catch-ups. We are flexible and adapt to each client’s needs and requirements.
