We needed help with e-commerce and mobile app development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The first project we did with Blue Logic Digital was custom website development in Magento. They developed the site and related technology from scratch. Once the site was done, their content writer created content for the site. They also added a careers page to help us attract job candidates. 

Now, Blue Logic Digital is working on developing a cross-platform mobile app that serves as an extension of our website. They’ve completed 50%–60% of the project and are now working on the backend.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website is amazing, but I don’t have any specific metrics to highlight because the site only launched a few days ago. We’ll judge their success by the number of visitors we’ll get and the quality of the candidate from the new careers page. 

However, the general feedback from users is that the site is nice and the navigation is very easy. A lot of users are utilizing the informational aspects of the site. 

How did Blue Logic Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Blue Logic Digital is a project management superhero. We communicate formally through emails, although we used to also converse via Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We have a good partnership — they do a lot for us. Their advice is great and makes us feel secure in our relationship. We’ve built up a personal connection, which is a huge advantage. We’re more than just another project to Blue Logic Digital — they treat us like family. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We aren’t digital solutions experts, so I’d expect Blue Logic Digital to tell us more about what we need instead of letting us tell them.

For what projects/services did your company hire Blue Logic Digital, and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop a mobile app to strengthen customer relationships as well as great way to collect user information and information about users buying habits. Customers also have multiple loyalty cards from different brands and not enough space to carry all of them most of the time, so mobile was the way to go for us.

Impressed with Blue Logic’s design ability, we also hired Blue Logic Digital to design and code our corporate mailers for our direct marketing, which go out 3-4 times a month to our customers. The goal here was to stand out with incredible designs and in turn increase traffic, get more sign-ups for events and provide useful information to our existing customers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We explored some local vendors along with offshore vendors as well. What made Blue Logic invariably sand out was their understanding of the technical environment and how they were more proactive in their approach.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We have partnered with Blue Logic Digital to develop our loyalty program mobile app from scratch. This integrated with our retail store POS and our website. For every purchase done in any of the Sony retail outlets the customer collected points on the mobile app which could then be redeemed against the purchase of any product either via the online store or through the retail outlet. The key steps and milestones here were UX, Story boarding, Wireframe, UI, Development, Testing and going Live.

Additionally want helped the communication was that we were assigned a dedicated project manager even though they were local. Our marketing team also works with Blue Logic Digital for the design of our corporate communication mailers. These mailers are integrated on Salesforce Cloud and then broadcasted from there to different segments of customers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

For the mobile app Over 500+ downloads and the repeat purchases from the same customers went up by 12% For mailers 36% open rate with a 6% click rate

In one word the project management style was pretty much authoritative with a clear direction. Agile Development methodology was used for Project Management. For communications it was Teams For Issue management it was Jira

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Our team highly appreciated their UX team’s attention to the details of the designs. They came up with such unique designs for the Sony brand, which stood out not only in terms of its creativity but also the way it communicated our brand’s tone of voice and style. We were inspired by their work to a great extent!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Cant think of anything. We are very happy and will continue to work with Blue Logic Digital.

Too early to comment, but so far it has been a a good start and I am positive on the outcome.

Be it in-person or over Teams or email, the team was prompt in the response. Acknowledgement is key for any communication and that has been observed.
