We startet with comlete BI outsourcing from scratch. Used Keboola, Snowflake, Tableau. In time, we migrated from Tableau to GoodData, Bizztreat trained ourinternal team, so now we are able to work with data by ourselves and consult the more difficult things Bizztreat.

People started working with data, that saved us time and money. We are able to have numbers and dashboards we need more quickly and that saves us money again.

The project is organized very well, and deliveries are on time. If not, is has an objective cause, maily on our side.

When our company was about to start to build a BI solution. They was our foothold in defining of the structure and needs. Was helping us to take the right dirrection straight from the start. Later on, they had been able to deliver good quality reports end-to-end, always bringing additional expertise and experiences gained on other projects. Also for most of the time they had been able to stick with the timelines and deliver in time what was needed.

What challenge were you trying to address with BizzTreat?

We were searching for a partner in business intelligence to help us process and visualize data.

What was the scope of their involvement?

BizzTreat provides remote data-driven business consulting to us. They've developed several internal processes in the sub-segment project for our controlling department and now support our controlling group.

In addition, BizzTreat's team created business intelligence analytics on our tool usage, including who does what and how much money we're getting from those tools. Regarding technologies, they're using the visual outputs from Microsoft's Power BI platform. 

What is the team composition?

We work with five members of BizzTreat's team, but we're mostly in touch with their data analysts and the head of their company.

How did you come to work with BizzTreat?

Someone referred BizzTreat to us, which is why we selected them for this project.

How much have you invested with them?

We invest $200,000 with them every year.

What is the status of the engagement?

We started working together in June 2019, and the engagement is still ongoing.

BizzTreat's work and cooperation are smooth, and we're satisfied with their services.

How did BizzTreat perform from a project management standpoint?

BizzTreat works in Agile methodology. They also meet deadlines and stay within budget. Regarding tools, we use Trello and emails — their team is very communicative and responsive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like BizzTreat's agility because it enables them to deliver products quickly. They also understand the industry we're working in, which greatly helps the cooperation.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on. They're a nice group of young people who keep the trend.

The aim of the project was to create a system of automated data collection from the organizational units of Diakonia, which are located throughout the territory of the Czech Republic, with the aim of creating conditions for the application of a managerial control system.

The speed of processing data from organizational units in real time. Provision of documents for managerial management, both at the level of the central management of Diakonia and also at the level of individual organizational units.

The management of the project was ensured by BizzTreat at a high level, thanks to operative cooperation, the solution took place very quickly with appropriate outputs.

The company impressed me with its very friendly atmosphere, which created the conditions for an effective solution to the given task, when it was only necessary to look for possible ways to realize the given plan. They designed the entire solution architecture quickly, so we started testing the first data sets within a few weeks.

For more extensive implementation of similar solutions, it would be possible to recommend expanding the company's development capacity.

Primarily it was about setting up one place with verified and updated data for the whole company. The number of accesses at the time of use was about 50 000/year. Successful data integration with internal and external systems - 3 applications, in use so far.

Regular meetings on a weekly basis in the form of a virtual meeting. Project management via trello and slack. Proactive approach to problem solving.

We were impressed by their individual approach and efforts to understand our needs. They offered added value according to experience from other projects.

At the time of the collaboration, it was a start-up company that did not have as many formalised procedures. We were comfortable with this approach because we were similar in terms of project management and cooperation with an external company. Over time, we set clear rules and I had nothing to complain about.

Lower engagements (part time workers, e.g. 0.5 FTE) are frequent, but this doesn't suited our need well. We prefere 100% dedication of the staff for our activities. The levels junior/senior are slightly shifted, so people presented as close to seniors were rather juniors from our perspective.

The assignment was to create a PnL, FCTST outlook, budget. The data was in KBC, where Bizztreat prepared all the transformations, including historization and then prepared the output to Power BI, where he also completed the actual visualization, which we still use on a daily basis. Part of this was still to create the structure on OneDrive where we store manual inputs.

Measurable results are savings in MD rates, and positive contribution to PnL based on online data
