I’m the owner of a healthy lifestyle app.

What challenge were you trying to address with Best Business?

We wanted to help people in New York live a healthy lifestyle, find more gyms, and more healthy food restaurants. We needed someone to develop the app and help with marketing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provided some ideas around how the site and the mobile app would look. We had some sketches and documentation. They made our Android app on an Angular framework, while the iOS development used Swift.

Through our platform, users can speak with a nutritionist. We offer a free subscription where clients can check-in at different places and receive discounts at restaurants, gyms, etc. With the premium paid subscription, users can check-in from anywhere. They already have access to the discounts for the businesses like gyms, restaurants, nutritionists, etc.

The apps are in beta testing. I’ve also decided to do marketing with them using Google AdWords.

What is the team composition?

I worked with a project manager.

How did you come to work with Best Business?

I found them through an internet search, where I came across their site and saw their portfolio. They interested me so I decided to write to them. I liked their view of making business. Their portfolio was very interesting and simple, which was what I wanted.

How much have you invested with them?

$35,000–$40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2018 and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The application works correctly. There are small things that they’re working on still, but the functionality is working right. They incorporated everything I wanted. I’m very glad I started working with them. They have very good prices too—many other companies are much more expensive.

How did Best Business perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via Skype. The communication has been good. When we spoke at first, it was with the project manager. Within a few days, they contacted me through Skype and told me how much it will cost and how many people will work on the project. They got started very fast.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality and the price are impressive.
