Our cooperation began in late January. One of the essential factors was the season because the temperature and overall weather affect several essential technical processes. First of all, we started working on the ICP. The thing is, our in-house marketing was focused on the following regions: Nordic and Baltic countries.
After a thorough analysis of the market and the services we provide, the Belkins experts offered us to expand and test Portugal, Spain, and Italy markets since there is a much better climate for the services we provide. In addition, they also took care of the outreach campaign for Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Greece, and Austria.

They also did a huge research and analysis job. This way, we were able to cover more countries where our services turned out to be in huge demand and identified a call for a service that wasn't the primary one in the previous regions where we operated.

Toolla is an agency of expert developers specializing in AI products and systems for healthcare, marketing, and transportation services. Based in California, we have been in the niche since 2015. Our areas of services include machine learning applications, app development, and IoT solutions.

For what projects/services did your company hire Belkins, and what were your goals?
We needed to get more appointments since we felt we could cover more projects and needed more new challenges to develop and improve our skill set.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We found this vendor via a web search. So we contacted them directly via their website, discussed everything during the initial call, and started getting appointments immediately.

We have been working together for almost 9 months now. During this period, the Belkins team tested 6 different campaigns and approaches. Some of them generated in-person meetings with California-based startups, which was exciting. Others allowed us to set up short intros while Toolla was attending a conference in Finland. On top of all this, their team is multilingual and we ran a campaign in Polish. Recently, they have started a niche campaign, targeting companies with the need for numerical simulation and computational prototyping. This proves that they are creative and flexible.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We kept in touch with two employees: an SDR and an account manager. But I believe there’s a big team behind these contact persons who take care of all the technical stuff and the overall strategy.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
They have already booked 45+ calls for us. The Belkins experts targeted different geos: the U.S., Canada, Europe. Besides, they tested multiple profiles and industries (mainly startups) to identify our target audience and develop the most efficient strategy. The average open rate across all the campaigns is 50%+, which is an amazing metric.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Our communication is via Slack. The team is also giving guidance and support on the sales process with the outbound leads after the initial call, which proves very helpful.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I like their level of expertise and smooth communication. I mean, there should be a happy medium between a friendly atmosphere and hard work to bring expected results - Belkins specialists know how to stick to this happy medium.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No, I can’t identify any issues or obstacles during our cooperation; that’s why we are still working on the project.

7 Wonders is a one stop shop for video production needs that works with different kinds of brands, companies, and organizations. The company produces various kinds of video content: commercials, social content, marketing videos, training videos, and others. I’m a co-founder and executive producer at 7 Wonders.

In order to grow rapidly, we needed to introduce our video services to different niches, various entities, and companies. We wanted to expand our target audience and enter new markets.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Cold emailing works pretty well, but we wanted to scale up, move on, and enter more markets. We feel that none of the existing vendors could meet the level of growth that we were looking for; they just don’t have the capabilities to do it. In fact, one of the vendors that we were considering to hire referred us to Belkins. We did our own research on their experience, had an initial conversation with their sales team, and realized the potential for what was possible with the Belkins assistance.

With Belkins, it was a little bit slow at first, but Belkins started to book meetings that were entering into new categories for us. We have grown tremendously over the past six months largely due to our relationship with Belkins.

The biggest difference with Belkins is that they were able to consistently provide us with a lot of meetings. That made our sales process predictable, and we got an opportunity to have initial conversations with so many clients in a lot of different industries.

Belkins experts helped us get our foot in the door with these new potential leads. Their email campaigns also helped boost brand awareness for the company. Our second campaign was also a success. We had recently launched a new program, and the purpose of our email campaign was to engage early-bird pilot partners. The Belkins team scheduled calls with 10,000+ employee size organizations, which brought us a lot of great conversations that are actively moving forward.
