The only thing Bee Techy could improve was their availability to resolve bugs quickly.

I recommend having daily meetings and communicating a lot with Bee Techy. The team will get the job done, but clients need to over-communicate and stay on them.

Bee Techy has designed and developed our website. Our goal is to facilitate and streamline our booking process and eliminate the need for our team to always pick up the phone to talk to guests. On top of that, we have our properties listed on  Airbnb and Booking.com, which have high fees. Bee Techy has built and integrated the site with our main platform on Guesty, streamlining our reservation process.

I worked closely with Eddy (Founder) and Bee Techy's project manager. Bee Techy also works with outsourced developers and a third-party team.

We’ve been working with Bee Techy since January 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We requested a live booking functionality and integration with Guesty. Now, we don't have interference with Airbnb reservations or Booking.com since the platform blocks dates, ensuring we don't have double reservations. Bee Techy's work has helped our company work more smoothly, and we receive more bookings through our amazing site.

Moreover, our revenue has kickstarted, and we receive at least one reservation daily. Users don't like booking through Airbnb because of the fees, and now I have a site to direct them to. Bee Techy has opened a new corporate channel, and I'm very grateful for this result. Our company has grown thanks to Bee Techy's work, and their biggest asset is their team's ability to listen to feedback and implement it. The team has downsided ideas into something that works incredibly well.

Bee Techy meets deadlines and stays on budget. Eddy is on top of each task and is very communicative, straightforward, and timely. We have weekly meetings and communicate using Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I love working with teams that are timely and on top of their work, and Bee Techy has shown that. The team is very responsive and always available to talk with me, and I appreciate it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Bee Techy outsources work with teammates in different timezones, and sometimes, we can't talk to them at the moment. It would be great if they could work with teammates in the same timezone.

Our mission was to develop a technical demo for our Startup as a proof of concept for NYFW 23’. We needed to develop a custom smart contract on Ethereum and connect it to an API minting engine with a fiat on-ramp for simple checkout. 

From this we needed to integrate with several other APIs for the physical clothing tags which allowed users access to the digital collectables with their mobile devices. All of this needed to integrate with our website in a way that offered conditional access when customers interacted with the physical fashion.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were successfully able to debut our Startups’ first technical demo (MVP) at Samsung’s Flagship NYC location, 837 in Chelsea during a fashion show for an up and coming designer. We got user feedback from the crowd that became invaluable for us in the development of our technical documentation and patent application, which Eddy has also developed in-detail alongside us. 

Not only was the demo functional and well received, but it‘s snowballed us into a viable IP most with out business. Eddy’s work has been timely, well done, and professionally communicated to our team each and every time we’ve worked together.

Eddy looped in his team and we got the ball rolling immediately. He’s always prepared to do business and actually delivers in a timely fashion. He’s a diligent project manager and his agency has a very structured approach to tackling projects. They soaked up information and communicated extremely effectively between each other to develop our tailored solution. Eddy knows how to leverage skill sets well. Anytime we needed to solve a problem, Eddy was on top of it.

Working with Eddy and his agency has been the best experience I’ve ever had with an outside contractor/developer. He’s got a lid on his team and is always hungry to deliver quality results. His work ethic is impressive and it noticeably translates into the deliverables him and his team put out.

To be honest, I’ve built a great rapport with Eddy and in my time working with him I can’t say I have constructive critic. I wouldn’t leave a review if I genuinely didn’t believe that Eddy and his team are 5 stars.

Bee Techy team delivered us internal react web application. The team accomplished to work in existing MERN stack with extensive knowledge of AWS deployment and PostgreSQL database. The web app is using Vite and focus on delivering a user-friendly interface, leveraging React's component-based architecture to ensure modularity and scalability. The API was build in ExpressJS as an GraphQL API that is consumed in react client using Apollo libraries.

Initially, we just provided them with our logo and some ideas regarding what I wanted, and they did all the framework. Throughout the development process, they came back with multiple revision rounds to ensure our satisfaction.

Although the website is now complete, I can always reach out to Bee Techy for new revisions. Moreover, Bee Techy is in charge of our digital marketing. The team originally came up with a marketing strategy and ran it by me. I was pretty happy with it, so I approved it, and they took it from there.

Everything Bee Techy has done has helped my business. In today's day and age, companies have to have a digital presence. Bee Techy has helped me in that regard, so I'm very happy with that.

How did the company perform from a project management standpoint?
Bee Techy is very easy to work with, and the process has been very smooth. I've never had to chase them for anything, and they've always delivered when promised. Therefore, we've never missed a deadline.

As for budget management, Bee Techy has been spot-on with everything. They've never been pushy for us to increase the budget, and they've always been clear on what the budget entitles. Whenever we need something extra, they do the work at a very decent price.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
I would like to give a shout-out to Eddy. He has been a great gentleman to work with. He's very straightforward and has come up with everything and ran it through me to get my approval. Moreover, he's very easy to get a hold of. Whenever we call him, he either picks up the phone or sends us a message telling us that he's busy but will call us back in a couple of minutes, and he always calls back.

What did you find most impressive about them?
It is very hard to find a service provider in the digital space that is punctual and respects the budget. Bee Techy does that.

Are there any areas they could improve?
There's nothing Bee Techy could improve on. My only advice would be for them to stick to what they know.

Be open-minded and tell them what you want from them. Bee Techy is very open to work with, so they'll tell you what they can do and how they would do it.
