Prismatic Studio LLC is an architecture, interior design and landscaping company in Colombia and the United Estates, and our differentiating element is the application of biophilic design. My position in the company is Design Project Manager

For what projects/services did your company hire BangLUXOR Agency, and what were your goals?

We hired Bang Luxor because we had the challenge of designing a disruptive website, out of the ordinary and that kept the essence of our brand. To achieve a very clean image, like a design magazine, that would show more the warmth of the spaces than conventional architectural projects. Always with vegetation and style as the hallmark of our company.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We researched and interviewed five companies offering this service. We made the decision to work with this provider because of their experience, other projects completed and because they are present in both the United States and Colombia, since these are the markets in which we operate.

We started with a first meeting to put on the table our goals, scope and objectives of the project. We indicate some references and start to release creative ideas. From this, we created processes, communication methods, a group to generate traceability. Then we met, observed the progress, defined small adjustments and they delivered a project that exceeded our expectations.

A project manager was our interlocutor and direct contact. Also, a designer and developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The result that has surprised us the most is that our website is now number 1 in positioning. Our clients and users have congratulated us for the clarity and effectiveness of our website. The web traffic is increasing.

All phases of the project are very clear and were attended to within the timeframe stipulated in the project life cycle. Communication was always very clear and precise. Something in favor is that the communication is direct and effective.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Its greatest asset is its ability to listen to the client and its creativity and ingenuity to develop innovative proposals outside the conventional.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We really don't see an area for improvement in the process we work on together.

We hired BangLUXOR Agency for web design. Our website is a business services website, so we were looking for something professional and up-to-date.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We told BangLUXOR Agency that we were looking for a website primarily focused on financial services within the valuation market and the different assets we generally appraise. They created a wireframe from the abstract ideas we gave them. 

The site was already set up, but they're responsible for molding the site to our needs. They’ve created a logo for our site in addition to other innovative ways for us to present our services. We’re currently working on the backend to implement features we didn’t have before.

We started working together in November 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website is not live yet, but everyone is happy with what’s been completed. BangLUXOR Agency checks their work and makes sure that everything is running smoothly. Overall, they’ve done a great of completing everything we’ve asked for. 

How did BangLUXOR Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything has been in line with what we expected. We use email for communication and PowerPoint for feedback. We check in every 4–5 days for updates or to let them know where we’re at. They’ve been very responsive to feedback and make any changes we need. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re attentive and good about anticipating our needs; we’ve worked with other designers before, and those were two things we haven’t had in our other experiences. They also bring up good ideas for our customer base. 

We never have to chase after them to complete work, and they come up with solutions for things before they become issues. They are also very eloquent in their creativity, which we’ve found particularly impressive. We’d hire them again, and the cost has been an excellent value for the services.

We have no complaints.

Let them have creative freedom first, and then go in and give feedback.

BangLUXOR Agency came up with a really cool design that we couldn't have come up with ourselves. The best part about the website is the design and ease of use across multiple platforms. It looks really cool and completely different from what we had before.

We communicated with BangLUXOR on WhatsApp, which made everything easy. If we needed to spend time together, we used Google Meet. They delivered work on time and without hassle.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website hasn’t gone live, but they’ve been able to work with our limited resources. We hope the traffic and all the metrics will increase compared to what we had. Overall, we’re happy with them.

How did BangLUXOR Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re diligent and always on time. They even deliver before the deadline. We’ve worked after hours, and they’re open to working with us or moving meetings whenever we have time. We’ve asked to communicate through Slack instead of having only email communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We communicate well with them, and they’re nice to work with. They’re bilingual, so it’s great to communicate in our native language; we can express ourselves better. All in all, they’re willing to accommodate our requirements, and their service has been excellent and affordable.

My only suggestion would be to have a Slack channel to work with everybody.

I was looking to remodel our main website. I had worked with many freelancers before, and I either got incomplete websites that didn't work properly or didn't look good.

What was the scope of their involvement?

BangLUXOR Agency has been doing web design for us. I provided them with the content, the layout, the outline, and the skeleton of the platform. They had to create the overall design, ensure it was working properly, and optimize speed and security.

My main requirement was to continue building on Elementor because we originally built the website through it.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website is live, but we're still working on modifying a few things. Since I'm familiar with Elementor, I look at the speed of connection to the other links, the membership connection to membership scheduling, and the website's overall feel — everything's great so far.

How did BangLUXOR Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They've stayed within the budget and led a refreshing process — I'm very satisfied with project management. I know this type of work takes time on deadlines, but they've been patient with delivering new concepts.

Regarding communication, we started using email, but we moved to WhatsApp because it's easier.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their best attributes are excellent communication, responsiveness, professionalism, and overall concept designs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could pay more attention to detail and ensure that the logo is perfectly pixelated. My global font was all mixed up when I transferred the website to WordPress.

I’m the founder of The City Mix, a web development and technology enablement company. I help entrepreneurs bring their ideas to market.

What challenge were you trying to address with BangLUXOR Agency?

I’m a web designer, but I lack the creative perspective to design outside the box. Therefore, I hired BangLUXOR to provide designs that could highlight my business’ strengths and value.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I started the conversation with BangLUXOR, I asked them what would be the steps for bringing to life the ideas I had. After discussing my ideas, they gave me some design examples, and I chose the one I liked but asked them to use it only as a concept.

Parting from that point, we worked through the site pages, designing everything from scratch. Then, they built the site using WordPress and Elementor. Additionally, they helped me identify my hosting problems and guided me on how to implement a solution. Ultimately, they provided me with a cheaper hosting solution than the one I had before.

In addition to the web development, BangLUXOR helped me migrate some content from my old website and guided me on best practices, usability, and SEO. One of their recommendations was actually to list my business on Clutch because they told me that Clutch has a very strong SEO presence. As for keyword research, I provided them with a few keywords that I felt described my business. They used those keywords but also did additional research to provide us with other keywords and optimize the backend’s metadata.

Moreover, we collaborated with BangLUXOR to create some drafts for content. They explained how to organize the content to make the site look good and make it have the most visibility impact to customers.

BangLUXOR delivered a better-designed and better-operating website with a cheaper hosting solution than the site I formerly had. Their great SEO advice has helped me improve its ranking, and I now have a few Clutch reviews helping me with that part as well; it was a great recommendation.

I’m part of a community of WordPress designers where we showcase each other’s sites. When I posted my site, I got nothing but amazing reviews and compliments about how beautiful, vivid, responsive, and fast it was. Thanks to BangLUXOR’s great work, our site has a very clean design and functional UI.

Working with BangLUXOR was easy, and we established a good working relationship. I had a great time during the discovery phase, identifying what would work well for my company through a very collaborative process. We had a very easy conversation, and we were open to feedback on both ends.
