I’m the founder and CEO of a student social blogging platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with ATOM Systems Private Limited?

My plan in hiring ATOM System Private Limited was to outsource app development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve helped me with every aspect of development, creating a web app and a mobile version for iOS and Android. They’ve gone even further by identifying how we can appeal to my user base.

What is the team composition?

We currently have a web developer, a mobile developer, and project lead. Of we need any other resources, they’re able to source it and fill in that missing piece.

How did you come to work with ATOM Systems Private Limited?

A friend recommended a platform and I found them listed there. They had a lot of content because of all the projects they’ve worked on. When we began discussing my project, it was clear that they understood what I was trying to do. Our conversation felt good and organic. They told me if I had any questions or if their work didn’t meet the requirements, that I should let them know. That in itself built up my trust in them.

We spent between $10,000–$25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in May 2018 and our project is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They were able to transform my ideas into something concrete and of high quality. They understood exactly what I envisioned and were able to make it into a reality.

How did ATOM Systems Private Limited perform from a project management standpoint?

At the beginning of the project, we established a timeline and they give me daily updates on our progress. Communication is very solid, and I always know exactly what is being done. We usually communicate via Slack or WhatsApp and they’re always responsive. Their team is based in a different time zone, but they always respond as soon as they're up.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

We have a really solid relationship, and that’s one of the most important things in an engagement like this. When there’s an issue, they ensure it gets sorted out to the best of their ability. I trust that they have my back. I can’t speak highly enough of their team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could conduct more testing before sending it to me and after I’ve provided feedback.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would recommend communicating what you want to accomplish very clearly. Sometimes there’s a cultural or language barrier, but the more specific you can be about how you want the product managed, the more successful you’ll be.
