Please describe your company.

My company is Pricehowl, a social deal-sharing platform that uses location and retrieves deals based on your location, which are posted by other users.

I’m the founder of the company.

What was your goal for working with Agnitio Systems?

We were a startup and our concept was based on a software platform. We needed a developer to build a mobile app for us. So, we partnered with Agnitio Systems for this project.

Please describe the scope of their work.

The Agnitio Systems team was involved in every step of the development process. They were an end-to-end developer for us. Agnitio Systems collaborated with us in terms of design, development, testing, and user interface of the app. They did everything for us.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the results of the project?

The mobile app is yet to be launched. It’s still a work in progress. For the most part, the beta testing is over, so I’ve got to release it, pretty much. I’m happy with the work that Agnitio Systems did for us.

Is there anything unique about them that really makes them stand out, compared to other companies?

The Agnitio Systems guys are a hit. They are truly terrific. They work really fast. Agnitio Systems works up a solution in one day when it takes other people a month or so to get back to us with a solution. They are particularly strong in what they do. They’re great.

Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or something that you might do differently?

Looking back on the project, I would have done things differently myself, in terms of the concept and how certain features work. However, none on the changes have anything to do Agnitio Systems. They delivered the work that I gave them to do. They did some great work for us.

Please describe your company. What is your role and responsibilities?

I am an engineer and work as a project leader at a large European power company. We produce, distribute, and sell energy. We also build new energy recovery procedures and are currently working on finding new ways to produce environmentally friendly energy.

What was your goal for working with Agnitio Systems?

We were trying to be more eco-friendly and go paperless in as many of our procedures as possible. We were in need of an application that could handle some of our forms that we previously did on paper. Now, we do most of our work in the field using this app on tablets and mobile devices. We partnered with Agnitio Systems to build this app for us.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their work.

The main project was to develop an Android app. Agnitio Systems built it from beginning to end. We gave them the concept and the features that we wanted on the app, and they developed it for us. They did the whole front end and back-end of the app. The app allows us to collect a lot of data out in the field. We can take pictures with it and store it in a common database that our employees can access. The app also has a PDF feature that allows us to create forms. We can also email clients and send the PDF using the app. The app that Agnitio Systems designed for us has really made it a lot easier to manage our projects.

With what parts of the project are Agnitio Systems involved?

Agnitio Systems were involved in the whole development process. They created three custom modules for us: quality, construction monitoring, and troubleshooting. Each module has custom features so the users can get documented information of the individual projects on the field. Agnitio Systems also created other features for us like a barcode creator and a QR [quick response] code generator and reader.

What was your process for selecting Agnitio Systems with which to work?

Agnitio Systems was actually selected by another company. We bought that company, and we inherited them as business partners. I’m glad that was the case. Working with Agnitio Systems has been great overall.

Can you provide a ballpark dollar figure for the size of the work that they’ve done for you?

The size of the project is in the $10,000-to-$50,000 price range.

Is this an ongoing project, or is the project completed?

Our partnership with Agnitio Systems is ongoing. We’ve completed our original project with them. Now, we are working on expanding the app to add more functions to it.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Do you have any statistics, metrics, or general feedback from the project?

We don’t have any metrics to share, but user feedback has been positive. So, we’re happy with the project. It has allowed us to do what we wanted.

Is there anything unique about them that really makes them stand out, compared to other companies?

The Agnitio Systems team is focused on providing their customers with great service and a great final product. They want to do a good job, and they do.

Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or something that you might do differently?

At the beginning of our project, communication could have been a bit better. Now, it’s a lot better, and we don’t have any issues.

What advice would you give a future client of theirs?

Agnitio Systems is great at what they do, but you want to make sure that you have a good description of the project and product that you want from the very beginning of the project. This helps the project go as smoothly as possible.
