Please describe your company and your position there.

Small Agribusiness Academy (SA Academy) was founded in 2010 by 15 small- and medium- scale entrepreneurs from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. They sought co-operation with the aim to expand and strengthen their role in the food- and agribusiness sector. To date SAA is active in five countries adding Rwanda and Ethiopia. Small Agribusiness Academy has decided to take advantage of the advancement of technology to increase efficiency and improve some of its operations including data collection, evaluation and monitoring

For what projects/services did your company hire Arusha Website Design?

In doing so SA academy is now looking for a technological solution that will enable information or data collected from the field to be assembled in centralized place, evaluated and monitored, and all of that to happen as quick as possible. In a nutshell, SA Academy needs an android mobile application that will be used to collect, correct data and send them to the centralized place for further processes.

What were your goals for this project?

Our proposed solution is the mobile application that will be used in any android enabled device by data collectors across various sites to collect data and any other attributes to the centralized database. Application will accept data, validate data and if everything goes well, application will send the valid data to the central database. Application will connect to central database from android phone using 3G transmission network or Wi-fi connectivity.

Describe the project in detail.

To design interface and icons for data collection android mobile application. The above goals will be accomplished by undertaking the following activities: Design and creation of all graphical parts involved in mobile application and web application. To ensure application User Interface is well organized in terms of color separation and conceptual integrity. To ensure there is design conceptual integrity between mobile and web application.

What was the team composition?

Project Coordinator will evaluate the work designed by agent. Image and icons will be submitted to principal in all Format required by Project Coordinator
