MapBlazers is a SaaS Platform loved by local businesses to help collect 5 Star Google Reviews. It automates the process of sending out SMS & Email review requests to customers of the business.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Complete rebuild of the existing platform from the ground up while implementing improved features and security. Improved design and usability. Improved User and Account management functionality. Improved scalability and easy of use onboarding new businesses/users to the platform. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Every 2 weeks we met via Zoom to review all previous work completed in the last sprint. I felt this helped keep the project on course and clarify any action items. For this project, I have a lot of domain knowledge on the industry and was able to provide the Why bebehind certain decisions. Armada also offered excellent suggestions that helped improve the app. I had additionally worked with a team prior to Armada and with the last team, everytime they said something was completed, it was full of bugs. Not the case with Armada. It was such a smooth rollout of a finished project. I was not nervous at all to roll it out to my customers. Rather I was excited!

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Despite a time zone difference, communication was excellent. I always had quick answers, and they always provided detailed action items and next steps. I always knew where we were in the project, and everything was delivered on time. If the timeline ever went over, it's because I asked for something out of scope, which I completely understand is my responsibility.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The army of QA testers they have! I had full transparency into the process, and not only were they finding bugs, but they were making feature and quality-of-life recommendations to improve the overall experience of using our app. That level of transparency gave me so much peace of mind. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Armada Logics Inc. could have done differently?

None come to mind. They've won all my future development work.
