It involved a number of phone conversations about what our objectives would be. Then I listed my desired features for the app which involved associating a QR code with server stored media. It also involved building a website landing page, animations, and marketing tools. The key deliverable is the app.

I worked with 2 people. First, Henry who was my sales liaison and then Michele who was my account executive

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We still have no outcomes. The app is still in alpha.

There was an abundance of communication. My issues were that I felt pressured to only have phone communication. This was fine, but there were a number of ideas that were lost in translation. It became difficult to have clear expectations on both sides. I suggested that our primary form of communication be email so that there were no misunderstandings. I’m still not convinced they will deliver the product I have described to them.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They have a great marketing team.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Reduce voice communication to once a week. Stay in constant contact with email. Phone conversations over complex topics rarely ended in me feeling confident that they understood what I needed from their dev team.

16k project 100 working days I paid as requested, however this company never emailed receipts big red flag, communication was horrific, It’s now 160 days later, my company out $20k no project.

2 projects managers the first manager requested payments every week, the second project manager was horrible at scheduling meetings and never followed through. Didn’t respect my time never apologized.

Appsnado is helping us build a central platform for trading and managing crew members and work schedules. We started with the scoping phase where we discussed our ideas, timetable for completion, and goals.
After that was done, we set up four more steps in the development, such as information collection, the coding and development process, testing and reviewing, and designing the overall look of the app — this includes the logo, color scheme, and website. Furthermore, the app is compatible with the iOS and Android platforms.
What is the team composition?
I mainly work with the project manager, who delegates the work to the entire team.
How did you come to work with Appsnado?
I was searching for app developers online when I came across Appsnado. I spoke with Ali (Director of Product Strategy) and he made me feel comfortable about working with them.

We’ve invested around $25,000 USD.
What is the status of this engagement?
The ongoing partnership started in September 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The app itself is finished and we’re just putting together the content and privacy policy that need to go along with the app. The measurement of success is built upon what they’ve delivered, such as the app and the website — so far, I’ve been really happy with the results.
We’ve initially experienced some bugs, but they've since fixed it so everything has been working smoothly now.
How did Appsnado perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is great. They stick to the deadlines and the project manager made sure everything was on point. We typically use Basecamp to manage every aspect of the development, and Skype, Zoom, text, and email to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
One of the highlights of the partnership is their communication. Their response time has been stellar and they always get back to me whenever I contact them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be better if they stick to one platform of communication, and loop everyone from their team in the process.

What worked for me was having a plan on what we wanted to achieve. I had all my ideas written down on paper, and they were able to materialize them to make an app.
