I wanted to create a social media app where people can challenge location-based dares to each other, and earn reward points.

I posted the job proposal on a freelance website. Although I received pretty much proposals for the job, Apponward stood out to be the best. After going through a thorough discussion regarding the app, our requirements, their caliber, teams and app development, I decided to select Apponward. The app has below prime functionalities:

1. Discover dares (Challenges) on the in-app integrated map.
2. Search/Share/Accept dares and record video/click images to complete the same.
3. Earn reward points by reviewing, sharing,commenting on dares.
4. Set custom annotations from profile which lets other nearby users view those annotations over the map.
5. View your completed dares and other members in the app.

Project manager was the key contact point between me and the team. He was responsible to update me on the app development status and give demos of the same.

The app was finished and after 2 days the app has 20 unique installs.

The idea is to have a map-based android application that supports offline navigation. The goal of this app, named Meri, is to provide offline route navigation support to its users in Ethiopia.

What were your goals for this project?

Meri Navigation is a map-based android application that offers offline navigation functionality to the users. It’s a full detailed map with the geographical views extracted from the information saved in the map data.

Users will provide the origin and the destination addresses. They can choose voice assistance (English or Amharic), select the shortest and fastest routes.

Users can use any of the three navigation modes available in the app viz Vehicle, Pedestrian and Transit Mode. The app also notifies the user about the safe speed limit in a specific road.

Meri Navigation is a map-based android application that provides offline navigation. It has some exceptional features like

•  A full detailed map with the geographical view(Roads, Railways track, Street name, etc depends on the information saved in the map data).
• Start navigation by providing the source and destination address or coordinate values. The user will have the option of selecting voice assistance(English and Amharic), shortest route, fastest route, etc.
• Three navigation modes- Vehicle Mode, Pedestrian Mode and Transit Mode.
• Speed limit voice warning, coordinate sharing and voice assistance.
• English and Amharic text language support

The project is at its final stage of development. Very good outcome is expected

The team showed its caliber from the beginning. With incredible technical knowledge and experience, the team members diligently worked and delivered splendid results.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The positive and never give up attitude of the team is what impressed me a lot. Their attentive and keen desire to accomplish their goals is something everyone needs to inculcate.

Also, they present their views and ideas effectively to add more value to the project.

We faced problem working on translation to Amharic /Ethiopic/ language. They have to work on how to make it easier.

I posted the job proposal on a freelance website. We received many applications from multiple companies for the job, but I shortlisted a few companies. After having a thorough discussion and a couple of calls, I decided to move forward with Apponward Technologies for the work. Maetrix is an LMS whose prime users are Aesthetic Practitioners. It comprises multiple business development courses and video lessons for different Aesthetic Businesses.

You can also read informative blogs and listen to podcasts with just a click. The picture-in-picture mode of the application lets users use other apps simultaneously. One can buy or subscribe to any available course and watch the same on their smartphones, tablets or desktops

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

One of the key requirements i had was for a system that was able to generate revenue at the earliest opportunity. The Apponward team got a great understanding of what I wanted, were laser focused on the brief and as a result have delivered a market leading digital asset. On time, on budget and to a high standard of design and technical functions.

It is a prominent team to work with. A team of proficient and skilled professionals is assigned to me who works consistently on the project. The team are super communicative, which is great when as the client I'm able to trust them entirely to guide and push when they need me to do something.

The positive and never give up attitude of the team is what we look for. They take up challenges and solve them. They present their ideas effectively to add value to the project.

They are also VERY creative, and fun to work with - I am very particular about the partners i choose to work with, and Apponward are the best offshore tech company I have ever worked with.

We wanted to develop a type of dating app for HIV+ people where they can socialize, connect and meet with other HIV+ people. We noticed that all websites and apps for HIV+ people to socialise are paid for and we want to break this rule by giving them a platform where they can meet and greet other HIV+ people to socialize and share sad and happy moments.

We searched for a team to do the job via several platforms and eventually we chose the Apponward Technologies. They had an excellent understanding of the project, swift responses and they even help is with some ideas we could not think about at first on our own.

HappyHIV is a type of dating app(iOS and Android) for HIV+ people where they can socialize, connect and meet with other HIV+ people. The people can talk with other HIV+ folks and also meet them if both agree. It’s a great way to connect them with others who might be sharing the same feelings. It will help them not to feel alone.

The first 100 users signed up without any advertising. So far we only have registered one social media account on marketing purposes. I am sure we will start doubling this weekly after the launch of app.

For the artists, the app allows them to record a personalized and send it to their fans to share on their respective social media platforms.

What were your goals for this project?

I wanted to create a social media platform to bring the German artists and their fans to a common personal space. The goal was to create a connection that can bridge the distance between the fans and their favorite artists.

Heyfan is a mobile(iOS and Android) and web app made specifically for the artists and their fans. The fans can view the profile of their favorite artists and can make a personalized video request by paying the amount set by the artist.

The artist version of the app allows them to record their videos and send them to their fans. The fans can download the video and also share it with their friends or on their social media platforms. The fan can give their reviews and ratings to the artists as well.

1. The objective of the app is to connect 30 different categories of talents with their fans
2. Nearly 200 artists and 1000 fans have joined the app after a few weeks without any marketing
3. The best application to entertain the fans without any impediments even in the current Pandemic.

The concept behind Iskcon app was to streamline the process of tracing donation receipts while minimizing paperwork. Within the app, we've categorized users into four distinct roles: admin, account manager, preacher, and executive. The admin holds the highest authority, overseeing the entire application and managing user roles. They have the capability to create and assign roles to account managers, preachers, and executives. Each of these roles possesses the ability to generate donation receipts as needed, providing flexibility and efficiency within the system.

Increased efficiency in generating receipts: The app could automate the receipt generation process, saving time and resources for ISKCON staff. Improved accuracy of receipts: The app could reduce errors in receipt data entry. Enhanced donor experience: The app could provide donors with a more convenient and transparent way to receive receipts for their donations. Increased donations: By making the donation process more efficient and transparent, the app could encourage more people to donate to ISKCON.
