BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the founder and executive director of Lifted Wings Studios. Lifted Wings Studios is a production studio focusing exclusively on content with a message that educates and uplifts and media that brings families together. We collaborate, design and execute. Specializing in animation, our services include 2D and 3D pre-production and production. We can also serve customer digital illustration and design needs.

For what projects/services did your company hire Anyalpha?

Our website was created years ago and was originally a personal portfolio website. The content was edited to represent the company but the structure of the website needed to be elevated. Anyalpha helped with restructuring the website to better showcase our work and the energy of Lifted Wings Studios.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They were persistent in reaching out on LinkedIn. After I spoke with the owners, they pitched some great ideas to elevate the website. I appreciated their transparency and our shared values in conducting business. There was a strong sense of peace when speaking with them.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After initial meetings to discuss the needs and wants for the project, I was connected with the developers via Basecamp to discuss the progress of the project. The developers suggested a theme based on reference designs. I was given updates and gave my notes via Basecamp, email and phone calls. The website went live at the beginning of July.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I had access to 7 people but I was primarily in communication with the CTO, CEO and 3 developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It is too early to give that information.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The best communication was between the partners and I. The CTO and his partner were very easy to speak with. Video calls with the developers proved to be the most effective way to give feedback and the move the project forward.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

This is the first time we have hired a company for a website design service. The partners at Anyalpha brought ease and trust into this process. That is why we went with them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Methods of communication could have been made clearer initially to reduce the amount of feedback on the project.
