What challenge were you trying to address with AMPLUS SOLUTIONS?

We needed their team to develop a mobile application for us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

AMPLUS SOLUTIONS has developed our mobile app, which is both iOS- and Android-enabled. It’s a small and simple app that mainly targets our dealers— once users download it, they gain access to our product details. They can proceed with selecting a product and adding it to their cart. 

Additionally, there was a time when their team was in charge of our company’s marketing, but that has been put to a halt. They continue to support us with their app maintenance services.

I was in contact with two resources from their team.

How did you come to work with AMPLUS SOLUTIONS?

One of our dealers had worked with AMPLUS SOLUTIONS in the past. We knew them because they’re pretty famous for their work. Upon contacting them, their team had very good knowledge of what we required. The R&D that they prepared was both thorough and simple — they didn’t send us a quote without putting all our requirements into careful consideration.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $20,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with AMPLUS SOLUTIONS in December 2018, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

AMPLUS SOLUTIONS developed a high-end app that has helped our business grow. They’re a very knowledgeable team that strongly focuses on delivering beneficial solutions — if they know that something I’m asking for won’t do our business any good, they inform me right away.

How did AMPLUS SOLUTIONS perform from a project management standpoint?

They created a team for vision makers and another team for the technical team. They get all the technical requirements from our internal team and coordinate within those two groups. AMPLUS SOLUTIONS regularly updates me by sending elaborate progress reports.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team doesn’t only work to profit from us, but they sincerely educate us. I got quotes from other companies that were too high, but AMPLUS SOLUTIONS’ prices are reasonably good. Their focus lies more on giving back to their customers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I’d have them improve. AMPLUS SOLUTIONS knows what they’re doing — I’ve never had any complaints from my team or from our dealers.

What challenge were you trying to address with AMPLUS SOLUTIONS?

We needed to develop a website but didn’t have in-house resources for it.

What was the scope of their involvement?

AMPLUS designed and built a new website, in addition to creating new collateral for us. They were also in charge of incorporating change requests. We were looking to engage them for digital marketing, but that’s been put on hold because of COVID-19.

What is the team composition?

I was in contact with a manager and one other person from AMPLUS.

How did you come to work with AMPLUS SOLUTIONS?

We started with a Google search and found 10–15 companies in total. We shortlisted and contacted 2–3 of them, asking for quotes. AMPLUS had an impressive portfolio, demonstrated an interest in the project, and offered a complete package for what we needed.

My boss didn’t want to have to explain the project to multiple people, which was an issue with the other companies we talked to. AMPLUS gave us a one-stop solution.

How much have you invested with them?

I believe the cost was under $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with AMPLUS in June or July 2019, and much of the work was completed by October of that year. The project — including our change requests — took three months from start to finish. I believe we’ll engage them again for digital marketing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website they made is very user-friendly, particularly for non-IT people. They showed us how to make site updates on our own. We got what we were looking for, and the site is working perfectly.

How did AMPLUS SOLUTIONS perform from a project management standpoint?

They met our deadline, and the team was very friendly. Their manager was in contact with me all the time, and he was very helpful in explaining everything. He was also attentive to the changes we needed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They know what the customer needs, and they provide the best service.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could use more layman's terms when talking to non-IT people like me.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I’d tell them to give AMPLUS a chance. They’re very open and customer-oriented, and they offer one-stop solutions.
