I’m the CEO of two businesses: a DJ company and a fusion BBQ restaurant called This Lil Piggy.

What challenge were you trying to address with Amplifire Agency?

I needed help with creating the whole brand identity for both of my companies, so I hired Amplifire Agency.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Amplifire Agency has helped me develop the entire brand identity for my companies. Their scope has included designing their websites, branding, and logos. They’ve also helped me with social media marketing (SMM), including content and hashtag creation. For example, they’ve taken pictures of food for my restaurant.

Amplifire Agency has created both of my companies' branding and marketing assets from scratch. I’ve simply provided them with the names and key aspects of my businesses, and they’ve developed all the visual and written content from the ground up. For my DJ company, Amplifire Agency has helped me create promotional flyers, a full press kit, and a sales sheet.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with three teammates from Amplifire Agency. First, I met with David (Owner) and discuss my needs for both companies, starting with the DJ company. Since then, I’ve also worked with a graphic designer. Another teammate from Amplifire Agency also helped us in the beginning with the DJ company’s work.

How did you come to work with Amplifire Agency?

A friend of mine recommended them. This person works in Las Vegas, which is a small town — everyone knows each other. One time, he told me that he was working with Amplifire Agency to handle his marketing and media management, and he was very pleased with their work.

After that, I called David, met with him, and started working on my first project, which was the DJ company. Eventually, we ended up working together on other projects, most recently the restaurant one.

How much have you invested with them?

For my DJ company, the branding project cost around $15,000, after which I started paying around $1,200–$1,500 per month for ongoing work. As for the restaurant, Amplifire Agency offered a package deal for the entire project for $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We originally started working together on the DJ company in 2014. The restaurant project started around the end of 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

After I hired Amplifire Agency for my DJ company, I tripled in sales in the first year. Those sales have been growing over time, so Amplifire Agency’s services are totally worth it.

As for my restaurant, I don’t have exact metrics because we’re just getting it up and running. However, when we started that project, I only had the concept and the recipes. Thanks to Amplifire Agency, I was able to close 2022 with great sales for catering services only. Moreover, we’re now opening our brick-and-mortar location.

How did Amplifire Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Amplifire Agency always meets their deadlines. As for the budget, there have been a couple of things that I’ve asked to be reworked, causing extra costs. Still, those overages have never been overpriced, and Amplifire Agency has always been upfront about the extra costs.

We communicate via direct phone calls, text messages whenever we need proof and approval, and email whenever I need to write lengthy information. Even though the restaurant is based in Hawaii, our communication has stayed the same as when working together in Las Vegas.

Moreover, we’ve been using Basecamp for the last three years, where I can see the progression of their design or web development work. This visibility has allowed me to make changes on the fly, preventing us from wasting a lot of time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Before I started the first project, I met with two other branding agencies. The things that distinguished David from his competitors were that he was in the same city as my DJ company — Las Vegas — and his track record was great.

In addition to that, Amplifire Agency’s prices are very competitive. Other agencies charged an exuberant amount of money for less work. Moreover, their designs and content are nice, clean, and of high resolution, and the quality has stayed the same throughout the project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if Amplifire Agency also had a satellite office in Hawaii.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a vision for what you want for your company. Amplifire Agency will help you fulfill that vision and take it to the next level. Their whole team does great work.

We hired Amplifier Agency to redesign our logo and develop the messaging behind it. They were also tasked with redesigning and reorganizing the way information was messaged and accessed on the website. They handled all of the corporate identity inclusive of social media sleeves.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Logo that culturally fits the messaging of the company. Business cards that modernize the company. Website that streamlines access to information. Website that is visually stimulating as well as informative.

David and his team are extremely communicative and help the client to stay on track with follow-up calls and organized and informative emails. He calls prior to the deadline to make sure the project doesn't fall behind schedule.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I am always amazed at how well this company works within budget and delivers a product that looks like you spent a lot more. I also love the culture of this company as they do a great job of making you feel like you are the only client, when in fact they are juggling a lot of clients. Their time management skills are outstanding.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Amplifire Agency could have done differently?

Not really.
