AAA Medical Group of Old Bridge is providing primary care to the area. We work together using the most innovative methods and the latest technology to ensure our patients make the right decisions and receive the right care. I am a Medical Doctor and serves the community of Old Bridge, NJ as a primary care doctor, specializing in internal medicine.

For what projects/services did your company hire AMBSI Inc., and what were your goals?

The revenue cycle in healthcare is confusing and frustrating, even for clinics that do it well. But getting it right means you get paid faster and collect more of your total billed charges. With the increased complexity of payor contracts and escalating volumes of small balance claims, maximizing cash collections for A/R inventory is challenging for many health systems and physician groups.

They said they can help maneuver through the intricate payor processes and deliver improved net revenue and yield performance. Whether you need a one-time clean-up project or a comprehensive revenue management operation.

AMBSI Bill Review services help reduce our claims liability by identifying errors, omissions, duplicate billing and inappropriate charges. In the process, we can also identify potential fraud, waste, or abuse.

I’m the manager at Rozman Medical Rehab.

What challenges were you trying to address with AMBSI Inc.?

Our business used to be based in Chicago, so when we moved, a lot of management things changed, and we needed help with adapting to the new business environment. One of the things we had to change was our billing system.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

AMBSI Inc. helps us with our billing system. They’ve provided consultations and are in charge of our insurance billing processes. They use a software platform to handle tasks, and we provide them with the documentation.

What was the team composition?

I work with three people from their team.

How did you come to work with AMBSI Inc.?

My husband was the one who found them, but I honestly don’t know how he did. I’m guessing that they were recommended by another doctor.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in November 2019, and it’s an ongoing collaboration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re happy with their work and enjoy working with them. Their team always does what we ask of them and are very good at what they do. We’ve had bad experiences with these types of services, but working with them has been different — and we want to continue to do so.

How did AMBSI Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate mostly via phone calls, email, and text messages. They always respond right away, show great availability, and are always efficient.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with how hardworking and organized they are.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of any — we’re very comfortable working with them.
