I am the CIO of starting up company which is providing logistics service . As B2B company , our clients can have fast delivery service to reach their customers using mobile application and tracking the process of shipping.

We have faced struggling of hiring different development resources to get succeeded product that will be ready for launching but we couldn't until we hired alpha squared to complete it and elevate our product with extra features after we have seen many succeeded projects are developed by alpha squared.

Our goals to increase number of users are using the app , by improving the usability and performance.

we provided alpha squared the source code of the application ( backend + android mobile app ) with many bugs that not allowed us to launch the app , after gave them our requirements and needs to change many functions and simplify the usability as much as possible , so after different version and iterations have been done we have reached to the 1st release in google play store.

cooperative project manger was assigned and one android developer and one backend as well .

after the 1st release, we have noticed many users in the mobile app are allowed to registered where before wasn't.

We hired Alpha Squared to implement our rental platform, which was based on an Android app, an iOS app and a .NET backend. We first build a prototype and then during the next years we established a out-sourcing collaboration to fulfil all the needs to develop our platform.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to implement an idea from scratch, build a prototype, test it and bring it to production. After that we wanted a long-term relationship to keep on releasing new features and improving our platform. We succeeded with all the goals and the platform is still live nowadays.

The project consisted in implementing an Android app, an iOS app and a .NET backend with an admin panel to perform all backend operations.

The team was formed by an Android developer, an iOS developer and a .NET developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We started working on a full-time basis after we built the prototype, and we applied agile methodology on a regular basis to make our work more efficient.

 We observed good results immediately, since our targets were always accomplished within our sprints and we released a new release of our platform in Android and iOS every week. We have been building from scrach a whole extensive app with a lot of features.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our workflow was based on agile methodologies leaded by me. The results were very good, after some time, since we started releasing new features on a week basis.

We had daily Scrum calls, planning meetings and retrospectives, all online using Video-conference, and we got to know each-other as if we were physically present. I always observed that the team was very eager to improve, and we discussed many complex technical topics to find the best solution against problems.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I found that the company is very loyal to its clients, especially for us we were like family, we had all the demands always fulfilled and the relationship within the team was really good. We established a good communication flow based on Skype calls and the team was always accomplishing their targets. Even on emergencies the team was always available on late ours in the night.

I think there is no areas of improvement since everything has been excellent from my point of view.

I searched for many tech companies in that region and i looked at their portfolios and experience. Alpha squared was really quick in answering our concerns and they understood our project from the get go. They had worked on some similar projects in the past so i felt comfortable in having them handle my app.

We went back and forth for a month to make sure both parties understood the requirements and design.Once we had made the required changes, we moved ahead to implementation stage. We did a lot of testing along the way to make sure the user experience was exactly what i had envisioned.

What was the team composition?

There was a project manager who was always available to answer my inquiries. I met the team in person and it was 2 backend, 2 frontend and other helping staff like designers etc.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Once the app as complete and all bugs had been resolved, we did some testing with friends and family and they all loved the design and flow of the app. We are in pre-relaunch stage and will get better feedback once we are in the market.

The project manager assigned to our project gave frequent feedback on the project. We would Skype whenever there was a need. We had really good communication flow.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed by their knowledge of how to solve any issue that I could think of. They gave us quick and good solutions for our tech problem, while they worked on better longterm solutions.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything was done as i had envisioned. They solved all problems and add features as needed. We worked on quality rather than time and i am glad i choose them.
