They’ve been great, and the product we’re launching looks excellent — they’ve provided a knowledgeable team, and I’d recommend them.

How did Allmatics perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re excellent in project management; they deliver on time and have established our processes. Overall, they adapt and suggest things to find something that works for everyone. In terms of tools, we use Zoom, Skype, Jira, emails, and occasional in-person meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them? 

They deliver as promised.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — they’re a solid team.

Provide specific requirements for them and be as engaged as possible with their team.

I’m an IT manager. We are a healthcare company providing services for cardiac monitoring.

What challenge were you trying to address with Allmatics?

We had a developer working on our portal previously who did a terrible job. We were looking to finish our web portal, which would make login and access to patient results available to physicians. It would also be possible to enroll patients online. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The project was about 30% finished when they started. We owned the codes, which we provided to them. They were able to build the software from that point and finish the portal. We use a framework we call “Software WAMP” (Windows, Apache, MySQL, and PHP). 

They used PHP languages with JavaScript, and they also used CodeIgniter. They helped us automate the entire process of filing patient results, enrollment, and more. They also helped us create custom enrollment forms online for different practices and clients.

What is the team composition?

I mainly worked with the project manager. He sent invoices and task summaries. There was also someone for the technical side. 

How did you come to work with Allmatics?

They were recommended by a colleague who had used their services.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $45,497.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began talking with them in December 2017, and it is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our online enrollment has increased while the use of faxing has decreased. Faxing orders from clients has gone from almost 90% to only 20%, increasing online enrollment to 80%. Their services have made our processes more efficient, organized, and secure with smarter coding and programming. 

It’s hard to convince people to change from something they’re accustomed to, so the high change rates attest to the success of the portal.

How did Allmatics perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very professional and patient with me when I didn’t understand the process. They took the time to understand exactly what was needed to complete tasks correctly.

Our technical point of contact was very detailed and tackled any new task presented to him. If he wasn’t immediately sure of what was being requested, he always asked for clarification to ensure proper work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are very honest. For example, if they estimated a task to take 20 hours and were able to finish it in 12, they only charged for the 12 hours. They didn’t push to get the maximum hours they estimated. They communicated much better than our previous developer, and the quality was very good. When we came across small problems, they fixed them immediately.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes we had to wait longer than we would’ve liked for tasks to be handled. This was because we didn’t have enough work for them to do so they allocated their resources elsewhere. We recently contracted with them for a minimum number of hours per week or month in case of emergencies that may arise.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Their rates are very reasonable, and they are honest and good to work with.

I’m the marketing coordinator at MakeSpace, a storage rental and sales company. We have several companies that do shipping container sales and several that do storage rentals such as storage lockers, parking stalls, and containers for rent.

We also have an investment fund, which is one of the companies within the group. (It also works with storage real estate.)

What challenge were you trying to address with Allmatics?

We needed help with web development. We had some company websites, but not all of them were up to date. We also needed new websites for other companies.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They are providing development for four projects. They do front-and backend development, mostly using WordPress. 

Two websites are simple landing pages with contact forms. One of them has a simple integration with outside software.

The third website is an online store hosted on WordPress. We’ve completed the first iteration so far. As of now, there is no online payment available, but people can order shipping containers on it. 

The fourth project is a module that updates prices automatically for all our products and locations. It’s more of a customized approach because the shipping containers are different sizes in different locations. Also, we have the same products, but they have different prices for different locations. 

I also order some basic graphic designs from them. Sometimes the items are banners or promotional materials like brochures.

What is the team composition?

I work with two project managers.

How did you come to work with Allmatics?

A recruiter recommended Allmatics to me. I hired them to fix the design of a pretty simple landing page as a trial run. They implemented it into a WordPress admin, and it went well. They also finished within the timeframe they promised.

We’ve invested $10,000–$50,000 with the team.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2019, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s a success story for our salespeople. The company I work with is not super technological, and they are used to cold calling. Now, they are super excited to see our modern websites. 

Every time I show them the new websites, it’s always a “wow” effect. I can’t say how it’s affected our sales because we just started using the website as a sales tool in November.

However, there’s general satisfaction with how it looks, feels, and how it works from the perspective of non-technical team members.

How did Allmatics perform from a project management standpoint?

They always deliver on time and on budget. I’m very satisfied with their project management. I have one point of contact, which is very convenient. (There are two project managers, but I only work with one.)

We live in different time zones, which can feel challenging when I can’t get something I need right away. But, they always try to always be in connection, and I’ve found a way to make the time zones work. There’s a time of the day when I write letters with tasks for them, and I know when to expect their responses. It works out pretty well.

We maintain all correspondence in English, and there are no language barriers. They’re pretty fluent. We use email and Skype. We do hourly based projects, and they report on how many hours they spend on each task at the end of the month. Then, we pay based on that report.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re reliable, and they deliver what was promised.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’d like to get them in-house. I enjoy working with them, and having them close would be even better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You should communicate, schedule calls, and explain what you want. Listen to their advice. The project manager is very experienced, and his advice is very valuable. I trust their judgment.

We run a marketplace for hourly babysitters and cleaners. I'm the owner and managing director.

What challenge were you trying to address with Allmatics?

I wanted to build a platform where trusted babysitters and cleaners can meet clients. I wanted to make the process automatic, with updates, messaging, and status reports.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I communicated my requirements with a project manager, who had a very good business sense. They helped me formulate my objectives in the right way, and everything came exactly as I hoped. We recently updated new features, and clients can use the services on a case by case basis, or they can set up repeat visits. We started with the platform for cleaners, and we just added the functionality for babysitters. The application is web-based at the moment, but we are planning to build a mobile app in the future.

What is the team composition?

I was assigned a project manager, and I know there was a whole team behind him that included a backend developer, a frontend developer, a designer, and one or two QA testers.

How much have you invested with them?

I've spent about $16,000 USD so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2019, and the first release was in June 2019. We've added several things since then, and the platform is still a work in progress.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our growth is very dynamic, and we have twice as many orders as we had in July. Next month, we hope to double that again.

How did Allmatics perform from a project management standpoint?

Most of our communication is through Skype. We have regular weekly calls, and we identify the most urgent things that need to be done. I always feel like I can message them at any time, and our project manager is always there to answer our questions or address our concerns. They were dedicated to performing well for us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're detail-oriented, and their business sense is great. They translated our vision into an excellent product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could send more updates about timelines and costs. Sometimes, we got carried away, and it was important to stay on track with tasks and how those tasks influenced the timeline. We spoke with them, and they modified their process. Now, we get regular updates. They really listen to us.

Do the work on your side, and give them requirements or priorities to help them complete the project.

What challenge were you trying to address with Allmatics?

Our company’s core focus is in the specialty pharma industry. We needed a team to develop a software database to combine our pharmacy and manufacturing sides.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Allmatics is developing the database and runs support. Their team translated various languages for medical devices, built portals, and output data into a cloud integration. They’ve processed SFTP through VPN and converted .NET and .DAT files into proper solutions methods for our side of the company. Their team has also done work for the cardiac side of our department, which involved PDF conversions of files and EMR integration.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Bogdan (Founder, Allmatics), various project managers, integrations specialists, and software developers. Each team depended on each project.

How did you come to work with Allmatics?

Bogdan and I worked together in the past. He shared that he was part of a new company and I was more than willing to work with his team because of our previous experiences. His knowledge and faith in this area are impressive.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started this project with Allmatics in May 2018, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The final version of the database should be launching in a few weeks. Previously, we had a paper trail between the compound pharmacy and manufacturer. Now, we’re able to send everything electronically by feeding it into a database. The process is now completely paperless.

How did Allmatics perform from a project management standpoint?

We use a platform to exchange notes, tasks, and status updates. It showcases what phase we are in and what goals we’re trying to achieve. We also use Skype for communication, when we need an immediate solution.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Allmatics visualizes the project with a hands-on approach. I never have to wait for my questions to be answered. They’re able to collaborate internally to provide results quickly. Their team is full of exceptional listeners. They take detailed notes to benefit the project, which is a rare skill.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wish we were located in a different time zone so they were more frequently available. Unfortunately, this issue is out of our control. Allmatics has been an outstanding partner.

Make sure to understand each other and develop perfect communication before diving into complex work.
