I was a product manager at Moydom.kz leading the development of mobile app.

For what projects/services did your company hire Aligned Code, and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop a mobile app for our users to access our products from their phones. We'd noted a trend towards that. Our goal was to have a user-friendly platform in 3 months at the MVP stage.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for app developers throughout the world. We shortlisted 4 companies based on their expertise, price, and estimated submission date.

We had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our objectives and goals. We provided Aligned Code with workflows, designs, and wireframes. Within 2 sprints (1 month) we had the first round of an app.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were a project manager, flutter developer, QA lead, and product manager. I closely interacted with the project manager and QA lead. The product manager was provided to us to consult on issues we didn't have the expertise and they didn't charge anything on that.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We had an app in a month. It was the most important deliverable for us. The app was good even if it was MVP of MVP, but was very valuable.

The project manager was easy to communicate with. We had phone calls, zoom calls, once a week meetings. We had bi-weekly team calls, almost everyday texted each other on slack and series of 1 on 1 meetings via phone calls and zoom

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are truly reliable and easygoing.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Definitely, there might be something they could improve, but I personally didn't notice anything bothering me.

We hired align code to assist with our mobile app design. We already have a live web app but really need a mobile app to push our solution.

After chatting with representative from Aligned code and seeing examples of their work, I know it was a good fit for us.

We were able to work through the discovery phase which included discussions surrounding what we required. Throughout the design phase, we met when specific milestones were reached.

We had 1 project manager, 1 designer and one BD representative.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The design and supporting documentation that resulted from Aligned Code's work was excellent.

Communication was through Slack and was very effective.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Prompt with delivery. Their high-quality result and excellent communication have been impressive throughout the workflow. We really could not have asked for anything better.

We are a company that makes mostly retro games, after the design and music stages, we tried to find the best programmers there, and it seems we got it right.

What was the team composition?

CEO, CTO, BA, and a programmer team.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

I can say that the team is the top professionals I've seen so far in this business, and let's just say this is not the first game we've made.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

I had an open chat with the team and everything was overt to all of the members.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The solutions they came up with was amazing to watch, i didn't had to do almost anything, they thought about almost everything and just asked me for confirmations.

Nothing.
