What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The measurable outcome was supposed to be a one-day test of their ability to follow a simple scope. We defined clear requirements (Angular v20, Tailwind v4, no SCSS, theming existing PrimeNG components, design focus only). Within the first day, their submission showed immediate scope violations: Angular v18 instead of v20, Tailwind v3 instead of v4, use of SCSS despite instructions not to, and custom components plus application logic outside the scope (wrong Angular version, wrong Tailwind version, SCSS included despite instructions not to, custom components built instead of theming PrimeNG). The submission was unusable.
These outcomes demonstrated that the team did not follow the agreed requirements, which meant we could not use the work delivered. We used this to confirm that their level of quality was not matching with our expectations. Delivering the wrong versions and scope violations cannot be considered “on time.”

The project management was chaotic. During the startup phase, four different project managers were involved without clear coordination, which created confusion from the beginning. The deliverable was submitted within the first day, but it did not match the agreed scope or requirements. When we raised our concerns, their response was defensive rather than solution-oriented. Instead of addressing the scope violations, they shifted blame and accused us of trying to “trick” them. Despite a written agreement for a refund if we were not satisfied on day one, they refused to return the deposit. This was extremely poor value.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Nothing stood out as particularly impressive or unique. While they responded quickly in the beginning, the lack of coordination and failure to follow simple scope requirements outweighed any positives. They failed to follow even basic scope requirements, involved multiple uncoordinated project managers, and refused to honor a written refund agreement after delivering unusable work. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something AIS Technolabs could have done differently?

The biggest area for improvement is honoring financial agreements. We only agreed to pay the $1,800 milestone deposit because AIS confirmed in writing that if we were not satisfied within the first day, the deposit would be refunded (minus work delivered). When the scope violations became clear on day one, we requested the refund. Instead of honoring their promise, AIS refused and kept the full deposit for ~4 hours of unusable work.

They should improve by keeping their commitments, ensuring developers follow basic scope requirements, reducing uncoordinated project managers at project startup, and responding to client concerns in a professional, solution-oriented manner rather than shifting blame.

After that, they crafted interactive UI for both app and website send it to me for approval and suggestions.

Their development team integrated UI with HTML, CSS, API, Laravel Framework, JavaScript, and other technical stacks to develop functional Android and iOS app as well as the website with an admin panel. With customized features and rich functionalities, it is easy to manage Android and iOS money transfer app users.

Everything looked great and all things were functioning properly on the demo server. I suggested some minor changes, which they instantly resolved and helped us to deploy the app on various app stores and launch the website along with the required landing pages. Also, they offer free 90 days support after launching the app and website with a web admin panel.

I had smooth communication with them and was extremely satisfied with their quick assistance and prompt solutions

The coordination throughout the project was seamless under the management of the project manager. The whole team was very responsive and cooperative. They e-mail me on a regular basis to keep me updated on every stage of the project. They manage my project on Jira software from where I can easily see what they are working on currently and also how much is yet to be done.
