We were developing an e-commerce portal for a Korean customer.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The customer had an existing web app built on Classic ASP, and they were migrating to Java. Access IT provided the development.

What is the team composition?

Moeen (Founder) was always my main contact, and he had a couple of people supporting him.

How did you come to work with Access Information & Technology Sdn Bhd?

I’d known Moeen for quite some time, but I hadn’t worked with him. I got in touch with him about this opportunity after I realized he was in a similar space.

The average cost per month is $5,000–$8,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Access IT in May 2020, and our relationship ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We always base success on customer feedback. The customer is really happy, and the proof for that is that they’re still working with us and Access IT.

How did Access Information & Technology Sdn Bhd perform from a project management standpoint?

The customer is very hands-on with the project, so we do things in bits and pieces that their project management team assigns to us. We use email and WhatsApp to communicate with Access IT.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s the commitment from their side. There’s a significant time zone difference between Korea and Malaysia, but we can call Access IT when we need them, and they’ll be there to support us. They’re able to support the customer with all their needs and issues despite the time difference.

Are there any areas they could improve?

If the customer has complaints, we have complaints too. If they’re happy, I have no concerns. So far, so good.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Access IT is a good company to work with, and Moeen is a good guy. I can’t think of any specific advice. Working with him is easy. He’s a cooperative and humble person, always there to support. If the client comes with a similar mindset and is outcome-oriented, Access IT will manage things their way, and I’m sure they’ll deliver good quality work.
