I’m the CEO of a digital marketing management and custom solutions development company.

We needed some who could handle our coding for us on multiple projects in a responsive way.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’re currently outsourcing our web development coding to 86 Agency. We have a PHP backend project going on at the moment with MongoDB, and they’ve designed the database structure for that. They’ve also set the servers using a framework that we developed, and they learned how to use it very quickly. In addition to that, they’re doing all of the frontend work in terms of JavaScript and HTML — they provide a full-stack development service for us.

What is the team composition?

Our main points of contact are Deepok (Founder) and a project manager who oversees and reviews the coding for us.

Deepok was referred to me by someone who worked with him in the past.

We’ve spent $30,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working in October 2020, and the engagement is ongoing. We plan on continuing to work with them on other projects.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They do a great job. I have 30 years of experience in software development, my partner has a graphic design degree, and we’re both satisfied with how everything’s looking in terms of quality, coding, and design.

How did 86 Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They perform great in that area. We have meetings every morning where we check on our different milestones and answer any questions. Every time a milestone hits, they usually provide a demo or something that we can review.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve hit all the milestones at this point. They’re easy to work with, communicative, and proactive. They don’t sit and wait around in case they need something; they keep the project rolling for us. In addition to that, their responsiveness and turnaround times are impressive too.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Maybe they can bring more detail into the timesheets, so we can always know what’s going on. I don’t feel we’re in the dark at all, but more detail is always good.

Having your project mapped out and described before you engage in a project will make things smoother. It helps to have everything documented, organized, and ready to give to developers.

LogyXpress wantd to have an user friendly web and mobile application wherein the user can easily perform logistics operations like creating shipment, selecting the courier partner, invoice generation, tracking the shipment. 86 Agency delivered the web application in the first 4 months which was remarkable and later shifted to other integrations for Shopify, Amazon,WooCommerce, Prestashop etc.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The key results that we wanted were integrating APIs for different functions that were must for our operations. Be it live tracking of shipment, payment gateways, E- Ticket system. etc. We measured the progress from the working features that were working smoothly and maintained till date.

Project reports were shared on excel sheet and trello board. 86 Agency had meetings every alternate week to show the work done and stayed connected to clear the roadblocks faced during the research and development phase. Till present time, the team delivered the milestones on time.

86 Agency was always available to understand the issues that we wanted to solve through our application. The team always provides their input from a technological perspective. Their work culture is beautiful.

As of now, 86 Agency proved their abilities to the fullest. We didn't face any problem or think that anything can be done differently. At the moment, al is going smoothly.
