We started from the procedural negotiation which ended with starting interview about our vision of NGO activity and our expectations for the final outcome of the cooperation. Then we were provided with the presentation of three general pre-concepts, discussed it and dealt with the details negotiations. Then we approved one of the three concepts and as a result were provided with the final presentation. After that we accepted the deliverables, signed the final papers including those confirming the transfer of intellectual property rights for the deliverables.

Initially we communicated with Head of Business Development, then when the procedural preparation part was over we dealt with IT Project Manager for coordination, with the Chief Operating Officer and designers in course of the core design development, and with the Chief Legal Officer for the legal formalities.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are completely satisfied with the approach and with the deliverables (brandbook), which are implemented so far in our activities.

We mostly communicated by the email, and had several prescheduled zoom meeting. For the formal paper communication (for legal formalities) we used the currier delivery.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It was my nearly first experience with ordering and receiving such services, so I don't have much experience to compare, anyway my perception is that everything was done in a right way. Impressively, the team was creative, communicative, active, and open to any feedback and discussion.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

My advise for them is to hold and exceed these high standards of doing business they already have.

After a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals, we received 3 initial designs for the main page on the site. Once we chose a theme they finalized the design and provided feedback. This allowed us to show them how we wanted the rest of the site to look. After a little more back-and-forth communication, we agreed on the design and development began immediately. Zgraya Digital set and met deadlines well within what we needed. A very seamless experience for us.

Our developers implemented the website within the first day of receiving the files and documentation from Zgraya. They answered our questions immediately and we were up and running within 24hrs.

Zgraya was very professional, and listened to and embraced our vision. They had some great ideas and came up with a better product than we first imagined.

Once the concept of the website was agreed, we had multiple meetings with the wider team at Zgraya, in order to agreed on the best layouts and options for the new website. We were in constant communication with the designers and we consistently shared ideas and feedback with them. We collaborated very smoothly and provided feedback directly on the designs in Figma.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

All the campaign's stakeholders were very impressed with the upgraded design and we received positive feedback on social media as well as private emails from supporters of the campaign mentioning the massive improvement on the website.

The team was very professional and friendly at the same time. Everyone was very competent and it was a pleasure working with them.

I quite literally vetted over 20 different website designers. I needed a company that had true design expertise and was able to showcase our brand to reflect the quality of our service offering.

After a few phone calls and a detailed explanation from Zgraya about how the collaboration process would work, we selected them as our vendor. From the start, Zgraya provided a detailed questionnaire to best understand our exact goals and we had constant dialogue so they would understand precisely what we were attempting to accomplish.

We started with color pallets to obtain the overall look and feel of our site as well as the basic overall layout. We were able to make several revisions throughout. We worked through the website page by page so that everything was in sync with our team.

There were about 8-9 people from their team with a range of talents that helped with different steps and stages of the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Zgraya was able to help achieve our goal in a spectacular fashion. The end product is exactly what we were hoping to accomplish. Which was, a website that matches the quality and service offering that our company provides to our clients.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was incredibly effective. We spoke over Slack. This was probably the best medium to use to communicate with everyone quickly and in a singular fashion. Using slack I was able to convey thoughts and ideas to all of their project members and obtain the insights I need as to not add extra lag time to the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're just so damn good. When it comes to design, there are thousands of designers out there. The difficult part is finding someone who truly works to understand what you're looking to accomplish and can exectute that. In my case, I didn't know exactly what I wanted from a design standpoint I had an overall idea and Zgraya was able to extrapolate that and bring my fragmented instruction to reality.

That's not an easy feat. Outside of having achieved my project goals, a huge takeaway for me is that I now have a team I can count on quite literally to build anything I need well into the future and I know it'll meet and exceed any expectations I have.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No. Having recieved the experience that I have, there's nothing better I could suggest they do.

It was a reference.

• Stage 1 - Getting to know each other, filling up a brief and deciding on our target audience, as well as drafting a very basic website structure
• Stage 2 - Copywriting. Zgraya took over the whole copywriting process. Mariia who was in charge is very talented and wow-ed us with the copy - bold, emotional and straight to the point.
• Stage 3 - Wireframing (in parallel with copywriting) - mapping out all the website structure
• Stage 4 - Moodboard discussion - we were presented with different styles we could choose from based on the references we provided, it was very important to decide on the direction - should it be a minimalistic or modern website etc
• Stage 5 - UI work/feedback - once the language, structure and style were confirmed - the team started hard UI work. We had weekly calls to check on the process and provide feedback
• Stage 6 - Handoff - when all the pages were designed and all the edits incorporated we received a very extensive UI tool kit, with all the info we needed for further development.

Flawless communication, very extensive follow-ups (much appreciated), and weekly calls. Zero miscommunication.

We loved how they went out of the box and agreed to experiment with us. Very talented and very creative. Also, the copy we have - GENIOUS.

We hired Zgraya to design our landing page.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zgraya designed our landing page and fine-tuned our brand messaging by identifying the right brand colors and images. To elaborate, we initially had a call with them to figure out the type of design we wanted. We told them about our business, and then they worked with us on brand ideation to ensure that our vision would be properly translated visually on the landing page.

Moreover, we consulted them on the images that we should put on the page. In our second meeting, they finalized the design guidelines. They ensured that the designs were suitable and that our teammates agreed to use them. 

During the third meeting, they did the preliminary designs through wireframes. From there, they drafted our technical pages, which consisted of our terms and conditions and privacy policies. Finally, they delivered the completed landing page via WordPress.

We worked with 8–10 people from Zgraya. I collaborated closely with a designer and a developer. The CEO also personally talked to us.

We found Zgraya on Clutch and saw that they had great reviews. That was the reason we chose to work with them.

We spent around $30,000–$50,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

This project lasted from November 2021–January 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

To measure success, we checked if the designs looked good and if they accurately reflected what we wanted to convey to end users. The landing page also had to be functional and delivered before our launch date. Overall, Zgraya did a great job in designing our landing page. 

How did Zgraya Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was good. They had excellent communication, and their resources were highly responsive; they replied almost instantly every time I had a query. To communicate, we used Slack. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Zgraya’s designs were impressive. On top of that, they worked with 3D graphics, which meant that their images were different and distinct from other competitors. Other teams didn’t offer this service. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there weren’t any. They did an excellent job. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Tell Zgraya upfront the design that you want. They’re proactive in giving suggestions, so don’t be afraid to tell them what you want; they’ll follow it up quickly.

Followed up with multiple different proposals for design and we chose our favourite and proposed the changes. We were extremely satisified with the wide variety of selection.

Internally and externally have received a lot of positive feedback on the design and responsiveness of the website. We have been told it really sets us apart from the competition.

We used slack as the main communcation tool. The team was really fast on replying to any concerncs/requests and essentially communcation process was flawless.

We were impressed with the dedication and initiative they took (also including innovation). If you really want to set yourself apart from the "gray mass" and you as a client are not so much of a creative person then you can count on Zgraya for coming up with a wow-effect solution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In general we had a very nice flow with the whole process. There is nothing particular to note here.

We've worked with Zgraya Digital to complete a project for one of our clients. Their team's in charge of the product design, while we've handled its technical development.

Once we've implemented development solutions, their team has also assisted our UI/UX design efforts. Zgraya Digital has then designed both the logo and landing page, and they've provided copywriting services to help generate site content and promote the upcoming platform. We've already built the platform, but it hasn't reached its go-live phase yet.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We're still waiting to release the landing page, and there are no quantitative metrics to share so far. However, I can confirm that we're satisfied with the quality of Zgraya Digital's work and their quick progress. We're looking forward to achieving our project goals through their deliverables, such as increased site traffic and strong branding that effectively represents the product.

How did Zgraya Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via Slack and Zoom. Zgraya Digital is a transparent and professional team that strives to meet our challenging deadlines and keeps us in the loop at all times. We're developers too, and we know how hard it can be to come up with detailed and precise results in a short period of time — but we can rely on Zgraya Digital to do just that.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We're most impressed with their creative presentation and design skills — their work just speaks for itself.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We can benefit from more organized meetings. There are times when we find it difficult to track who's in charge of presenting or performing a task because a lot of their members are involved in our meetings.

Determine your exact branding and design needs and expectations — if you understand what you want for your product, it's easier for their team to execute those results for you. Additionally, be patient and trust their team to help you achieve your goals.

I lead the marketing and branding department of Restructum, a startup law firm created by an established law firm around a new law that has come out in Germany.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zgraya Digital?

We were looking for a web development agency that understood that, even though we were a law firm, our work could still be fun.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zgraya provided WordPress design and development services. We began our engagement with a discussion on how I wanted the site to look, and we decided on the cost and the timeline. They presented a mood board with different fonts and colors we could go for. I was able to direct them more from there, and they created a design that I absolutely loved.

They also created all the animations required for the site, including the banner, and they gave us ideas on how we could show different bullet points using animated slides.

I worked with four people from Zgraya: Alexey (Head of Web Development), two UI/UX designers, and Matvii (Project Manager), who was my main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Zgraya Digital?

I found them on Google, and I believe I also saw their Clutch profile. They’d designed the website of one of my favorite League of Legends teams. I also interviewed a few other candidates, but Zgraya was the best prepared.

We spent around €24,000–€25,000 (approximately $29,000–$30,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

The project ran between February–May 2021. We’ll engage in a retainer contract with Zgraya for website maintenance.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website was well-received by our board of trustees, and we’ve gotten good feedback from visitors — it stands out from other law firm websites.

How did Zgraya Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Zgraya’s team was absolutely phenomenal in communication. We used email and Zoom to communicate, and I believe they also used Slack and other project management tools, but I didn’t take part in them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The fact that they could translate what I was asking for and put it into their design without it looking unprofessional was impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I was happy with Zgraya’s services, and we got along well. There’s nothing in particular that I’d have them change. We had some issues with the deadlines because we thought that we could hurry the project up, but we didn’t manage it. In hindsight, the project turned out well.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Working with them, you can expect the best quality. Zgraya can take your idea and translate it into a professional website. However, making quality design takes time, so Zgraya may not be the place to go for someone that wants a website done within one month.

I’m the CTO of ShopAdvizor, a consumer goods review community. We have an aggregator of ratings and reviews for supermarket products.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zgraya Digital?

We launched a mobile application in France and a website in Spain and Uruguay. We didn’t get the organic growth that we were hoping for, so we wanted to redesign the mobile app and website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zgraya Digital is helping us with UI/UX redesign. They've worked on three things, including project management and coordination. First, they tried to understand what would make the app and website more attractive for our users. Their team worked on the UI/UX design and created the actual graphics, illustrations, and user flow, as well as the frontend components for our web application. The only thing we had to do was adapt the designs and use the visual components they’d created for us.

In the end, we got a much simpler version of our website and app. They said our prior one was too heavy, so they redesigned it and made it way more modern. In particular, they tried to transmit the idea that we’re talking directly to customers.

Right now, we’re 99% done with the project and we’re implementing ideas that they suggested. We have other things that we’re going to work on, but we put them on hold due to our internal budgeting. However, they’ll be the first ones that we’ll outsource to when we move forward.

Additionally, we’re trying to open an office in Ukraine, so we asked them if they could provide recruiting services. They told us that they’re just a digital agency, but they were very helpful. They gave us their own recruiter to recruit for us and arranged meetings with their legal team because we needed legal advice.

What is the team composition?

I have a great relationship with the CEO, and I speak with the sales division. When it comes to the project itself, I work with a project manager, who is really good. I also deal with the head of UX design, and my team works closely with developers and web and graphic designers.

Zgraya Digital also works closely with me and our business analysts.

How did you come to work with Zgraya Digital?

We started looking for digital agencies in Ukraine through a Google search. I’ve worked with Ukrainian companies and always felt they were professional. We also couldn’t afford to outsource to other countries that were more expensive.

One of my top people is married to a Ukrainian woman. She had heard of Zgraya Digital, so we got in touch with them. Zgraya Digital’s wasn´t exactly the cheapest, but they showed professionalism and were able to transmit that they knew what they were talking about. Their proposal was very clear, down to earth, and accurate in terms of our requirements.

Furthermore, their portfolio was very modern and amazing. We really liked the design and interaction on their website. Also, the CEO is a great salesman. He talks a lot and is super likable. We could see ourselves working with them, so we went with Zgraya Digital, and it was a good choice.

We started working together in February 2021, and the relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were looking for something new, so we didn’t know what we were expecting. However, we’ve had a good experience with them. The interaction has been very agile, and the project is almost done. They deliver quality work quickly and are knowledgeable about their field of expertise. That’s what gives me the idea that this has been a success.

Also, our CEO likes to approve things at a very low level, so there’s been a lot of back and forth. They’ve been very patient, and they’ve managed to convince the CEO of a few changes that they suggested. Actually, they argued with the CEO, and he loved that they showed their knowledge. That’s something I’ve never achieved because he’s very stubborn, so that was very impressive and important.

How did Zgraya Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m 110% satisfied with the project management. Our project manager is amazing.

We created a Slack channel where everyone could interact. They’re very prompt and responsive. We’re in constant communication, and they make changes and come back to us almost instantly, no matter the hours.

Also, they’re very nice people. You can chat and have a laugh with them, which I appreciate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The great thing about Zgraya Digital is that they haven’t just executed what we asked. They actually speak their mind and give their own ideas.

Overall, they’re very knowledgeable in their field. They suggest things from a perspective that sets them apart from other providers I’ve worked with. The UI/UX design and the little development that I’ve seen shows that they know what they’re talking about.

In terms of cost, they’re not the cheapest but they’re worth every penny.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At some point, some of the recruitment stuff wasn’t working out, but it was because they were doing everything as a favor. We didn’t pay a penny for any of it. If they would’ve recruited someone, we would’ve had to pay a fee, but the legal and financial advice was all free.

In general, my experience with them has been very positive. There has never been a point where I felt something wasn’t great. I’m flying to Ukraine next month to meet them.

Trust them. Don’t take them as an outsourced company that just does what you say.
