What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We haven’t launched our digital products yet; we plan to launch in April 2025. We can’t really say about the measurable outcomes, but the platform's UI and UX have definitely improved.

Initially, we discussed our expectations with the product and the KPIs we were eyeing. We were the happiest with the research; however, there was some gap between the time the UX was ready and the time the UI was not.  

The UI team took some extra that we didn’t expect, although the result was good, so the wait was worth it. The project manager eased the flow of communication later.

The design process was quite good & teammates were very prompt to our requirements.

We don’t have any complaints with Yellow Slice. Kishor is a well-managed professional who lends a helping hand and gives the necessary feedback. He supports stakeholders' ideas and even accepts work that wasn’t included in the initial scope of work. 

One suggestion for the UI team is not to follow the exact wireframes but to think beyond that.

Since the new website hasn't been launched yet, the measurable outcomes are not evident. However, for the previous website, the success was quantifiable. The Hotjar analysis, examining fallout, dropout rates, user confusion, and navigation challenges, provided measurable data on understanding and improving the user experience.

While overall project management was good, the involvement of multiple specialized teams hindered effective knowledge transfer. Yes, the team was very active and supportive. They took our feedback and effortlessly worked on it.

One area for improvement would be a consistent point of contact throughout the entire project. Improving the knowledge transfer process and ensuring a smoother, more intense, and professional handover would enhance the overall project experience.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1. Aligning the redesign with FedEx brand guidelines for a more professional look.
2. Making the website more intuitive, and self-served.
3. The most crucial goal was achieving a 'first time right' experience for customers, reducing multiple attempts on the site. 

While the first two goals have been accomplished, we could see a gradual improvement in the third one.

The project management was effective and we were able to meet all our timelines. Although there were minor setbacks, these did not impact our ability to achieve the goals. Overall, Yellow Slice demonstrated responsiveness to our needs, and the project management was well-handled.

What impressed us most about Yellow Slice was the team's receptiveness, agility, and creativity. They consistently delivered on expectations, staying aligned with the plan and goals throughout.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Yellow Slice could have done differently?

Yes, we were expecting a more advanced tech solution, particularly for the quality check on the documents but the initial delivered one was a basic, vanilla BB script solution that didn't meet our needs. Although it is now being addressed, which could have been implemented earlier in the project.

Our main goal was to get the designs for the app & websites. Goals were delivered when the branding, the wireframes, and the UI designs were approved. Furthermore, there are about 2500 users till now on our platform from different industries like HR, Legal, Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Freelancers. So, we are 100% satisfied with the outcomes of the goals we wanted to achieve with Yellow Slice.

I think it was decent. More or less, we were on track in terms of timelines. Of course, if there were changes, then we had to go back and change it. But there were no major hiccups in terms of timeline.

Whatever they designed didn’t see the light of the day. But yes, the help they provided in terms of visual design and also in research was very good & quite extensive. So, it really helped us take the second version of the website to the next level.

We were just talking to the designers and they were good. They were doing what was required. They were on-site. We were happy. The co-founders were active and always ready to help, especially Kishor.

Yes, you can say that communication is one point. Also, Kishor, despite being a CEO, was always available whenever we wanted help, and even Sunny. I never got a chance to take advantage of Sunny’s skills but I really admired his UX skills.

I think Sunny should have been more available in terms of solving problems. I think he should have been more in touch with the guys (the designers) who were there in terms of knowing what they’re doing, in terms of solving if they face any problems. Also taking the feedback from me in between of the project would have been beneficial to both parties. I think they could’ve been more alert in that.

Meeting notes, final handoff did not capture everything that was discussed. Figma files that were being used during the demos and progress meetings were different from the final handoff files. This led to several gaps where the final files did not have what was shown earlier.
