I am the Managing Member of Epilon, LLC

Own and operate a SaaS product, Inventory Boss, which is designed to streamline ecommercce inventory management across multiple platforms, helping sellers optimize their operations and increase profitability. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Yaana Consulting Services to accomplish?

• The primary objective of this project was to take over and complete a stalled SaaS project aimed at building a multi-platform inventory management application for ecommerce sellers.
• Building the Tenant Structure: Yaana developed the tenant structure for the SaaS, allowing multiple users to access and use the application simultaneously while maintaining data security and privacy.
• Completing Core Application Logic: Yaana successfully completed the complex logic required for sophisticated inventory management, integrating it seamlessly into a multi-tiered SaaS application.
• Developing Access Tiers: Yaana developed four tiers of access to the product, catering to different business sizes and configurations based on the number of products and sales platforms.
• API Integrations: The project involved integrating sales and inventory data from multiple ecommerce platforms via API, a complex but essential feature for our users.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The project presented several stages, including developing core logic for sophisticated inventory management, integrating with MySQL, and building a multi-tiered SaaS application. Additionally, pulling sales and inventory data from multiple ecommerce platforms via API.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Well... the overall project has been completed.  This was the first stage of the project. 
With regard to specific measurable outcomes, we managed the project using the Trello project management tools.  This worked well from my end.  It allowed me to upload images, screen shots and videos for particular aspects of the work.  We moved each card through the various stages of development until that particular part of the work was completed.  The use of Trello was my idea.  I like Trello and find it easy to use to segregate different parts of the project.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The management structure is well-organized, with the owner, Tanmay, overseeing the overall project development, and the project manager maintaining regular communication and supervising the developers. This setup created an envirornment for excellent communication and accountability, making the development process smooth and efficient.  We primiarily used Skype, Trello and GitHub.  All these platfroms were chosen by me for the managment of this project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The management structure.  It provided for accountability and open communication.  This was a key element for me.  I hired Yaana to complete a project that was bogged down by another developer.  I was very pleased by the management structure and communication.  
As I stated earlier, I wanted to use Skype for access to the owner, project manager as well as a group chat for the general development items.  The use of Trello was also my choice, as well as GitHub.  The team seamlessly integrated with these platforms and the work proceeded well.
They were very professional in their approach; they were concerned about implementing best practices and ready to offer advice along the way.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Yaana Consulting Services could have done differently?

As with any new projects, there are a few wrinkles to smooth out.  Nothing in this project stands out thjat is worth mentioning.
Tanmay, the owner of Yaana, is very responsive and quick to act or intervene if you have any concerns.  He is very accessable and quick to communicate and resolve any issues that might arise.
