BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a company that designs, procures, and installs high-efficiency solar PV and hybrid power systems. We focus on optimized ROI and sustainable energy solutions.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with WPWeb Infotech?
We needed to build a comprehensive digital platform that would support our solar energy business across multiple customer and partner touchpoints. The goal was not just to launch an e-commerce website but to create an ecosystem that could help customers explore solar solutions, connect with installers, access financing options, and manage their solar journey more efficiently. We needed a technology partner capable of handling both the technical complexity and the long-term scalability of the platform.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
WPWeb Infotech has been involved in the design and development of a comprehensive solar e-commerce platform and supporting mobile applications. The project goes beyond a traditional e-commerce website and includes multiple systems designed to support customers, installers, and business operations.Key objectives include developing a scalable e-commerce platform for solar products and services, creating mobile applications to improve accessibility and customer engagement, building workflows for installers, partners, and end customers within a single platform, implementing features such as financing options, incentive discovery, and solar system assessments, providing tools to support lead management, project tracking, and customer communication, and establishing a foundation for future growth across multiple European markets.WPWeb Infotech has been responsible for building and customizing the core platform architecture rather than focusing on a single feature set, which has been an important factor for us given the complexity of the project. The primary deliverables include the development of a custom solar e-commerce platform for product discovery, quotations, and online purchasing; mobile application development to provide customers with access to key platform features and project information; installer and partner management modules to support onboarding, lead distribution, project coordination, and ongoing engagement; B2B e-commerce capabilities for installers and wholesale customers; financing-related workflows and customer assistance features to help users evaluate solar investment options; solar incentive and subsidy-related functionality to support customers across different European markets; customer dashboards and project tracking features to improve visibility throughout the installation journey; AI-powered tools, including solar advisory and assessment capabilities, to enhance the user experience and support decision-making; administrative modules for managing users, products, content, inquiries, and operational processes; and multi-language and multi-market functionality to support expansion across different countries and regions.

How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve spent around $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in February 2026, and our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re primarily measuring success through the completion of key platform components, workflow improvements, and the readiness of the platform for future rollout. So far, we’ve successfully developed and implemented multiple core platform modules, including e-commerce, installer management, customer workflows, and administrative functionality. We’ve also established a centralized platform architecture that brings together customers, installers, products, financing workflows, and operational processes within a single ecosystem.Additionally, we’ve completed key user journeys that previously required manual coordination, helping streamline how leads, inquiries, and project-related information are managed. We’ve also made progress on multi-market functionality, allowing the platform to support country-specific content, incentives, and future expansion across European regions. Moreover, we’ve developed mobile application functionality to complement the web platform and improve accessibility for users. We’ve also implemented AI-driven features and automation workflows that are expected to improve customer engagement and decision-making once the platform is fully launched. Finally, we’ve created scalable administrative tools that allow internal teams to manage products, users, content, and operational activities more efficiently. While the platform hasn’t yet reached full production rollout, the work completed to date has established a strong technical foundation and significantly advanced the project's overall objectives. We’re currently focused on tracking delivery and operational KPIs rather than end-user adoption metrics. Some of the key indicators we use to measure progress include the completion of planned platform modules against the project roadmap, including e-commerce, installer management, customer dashboards, and administrative systems; reduction in manual processes through workflow automation, particularly around lead handling, installer onboarding, and project coordination; readiness of country-specific functionality required to support expansion into multiple European markets; completion and successful integration of web and mobile platform components within a unified ecosystem; progress of AI-powered features and their integration into customer-facing workflows; administrative efficiency improvements, including centralized management of products, users, content, inquiries, and operational data; and system scalability and architecture readiness to support future growth, additional countries, and increased user volumes. As the platform moves closer to launch, we expect to begin tracking business-focused KPIs such as lead conversion rates, customer engagement, installer participation, transaction volumes, and platform adoption across target markets. Moreover, the feedback from internal stakeholders has been encouraging so far. Since the platform is still being developed, most of the feedback has focused on the functionality delivered to date, the overall platform architecture, and how the various modules work together.Stakeholders have responded positively to the platform's ability to bring multiple business functions into a single system rather than relying on separate tools and manual processes. The installer and partner management workflows have been particularly well received, as they provide a more structured approach to onboarding, lead allocation, and project coordination.Internal teams appreciate the progress made on administrative tools, which are expected to simplify the management of products, content, customer inquiries, and operational activities once the platform is fully launched. There has also been positive feedback regarding the scalability of the solution, especially the multi-market approach and the flexibility to support additional countries, services, and user groups in the future.Overall, the project is progressing in line with expectations, and the work completed so far has given stakeholders confidence that the platform will support both operational efficiency and future business growth once fully deployed.
How did WPWeb Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?
WPWeb Infotech's project management has been structured and collaborative throughout the engagement. Given the scale of the platform and the number of modules involved, regular communication and planning have been important to keeping the project moving forward. The team has maintained clear communication regarding project milestones, development progress, dependencies, and upcoming deliverables. They’ve also been responsive to feedback and willing to discuss requirements in detail whenever business or technical clarifications were needed. Moreover, the project has been delivered in phases, which has allowed us to review completed modules, provide feedback, and make adjustments before moving to subsequent stages. WPWeb Infotech has been proactive in identifying potential challenges and discussing solutions rather than waiting for issues to impact delivery. As requirements have evolved during the project, they’ve remained flexible and worked with us to accommodate changes while maintaining alignment with the broader project objectives.Since the platform is still under development, it would be premature to evaluate final delivery timelines. However, based on the work completed so far, the project has progressed in an organized manner, and key development milestones have been delivered in line with expectations.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What has impressed us most is WPWeb Infotech's ability to handle the project as a complete business platform rather than approaching it as a standard website or e-commerce build. The project involves several interconnected components, including e-commerce, mobile applications, installer management, financing workflows, AI-powered features, and multi-market functionality. The team has demonstrated a strong understanding of how these pieces need to work together within a single ecosystem. They’re comfortable working with both business requirements and technical complexity, which has reduced the amount of back-and-forth typically required on projects of this scale. Their team consistently looks beyond individual features and focuses on how each module would support the overall user journey for customers, installers, and internal administrators. We also appreciate their willingness to discuss requirements in detail and provide practical recommendations when evaluating different implementation approaches. Another strength is their ability to manage a long-term, evolving project while maintaining continuity across different phases of development.Overall, their combination of technical capability, platform-level thinking, and collaborative approach has been one of the most valuable aspects of the engagement so far.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Overall, we’ve had a positive experience working with WPWeb Infotech. As with any large and evolving project, there have been instances where additional clarification or refinement was needed during development, but the team has been responsive and worked collaboratively to address feedback. We haven’t encountered any major concerns that would significantly impact the success of the project.
