I needed a spreadsheet of 42 issues with our website functionality addressed. The issues ranged from simple link fixes to much bigger complications with e commerce functionality. They provided an explaination of why the problem existed, proposed solutions, and carried out the solutions.

They resolved each issue to our satisfaction in a timely manner while providing excellent communication and context around the process.

They responded promptly to all my concerns and needs, and completed the work in a very timely manner. They made communication efficient as well. I've worked with developers before who tell me too much and who tell me too little. WooNinjas struck a good balance.

They were willing to take on a website that another development firm had made a mess of, which is rare. I had other developers tell me they'd be happy to provide me a new website, but would not fix what I already had-  because of the unpredictability. The gamble worked out well- our website was fixable, and I'm grateful they've been willing to assist.

None at this time.

The scope of their plugin library. While I only use LearnDash Quiz Import/Export, they have a breadth of other custom plugins to pair with WordPress sites.

Are there any areas for improvement or something WooNinjas could have done differently?

Maybe more hooks for developers to loop into? API endpoints for quiz imports? Nonetheless, they've done a great job advising me how to accomplish this via support. I am very happy with working with them.
For anyone serious about building a true practice problem repository with LearnDash, this is the no-brainer plugin to effectively manage and maintain all of them.

This plugin added a group tab function that is separate from the feed where only the admin is able to post text and media, including videos/images/gifs. The look and feel of the community tab was adapted to the site and theme look & function.

The custom plugin functions exactly as hoped/intended...provides the tool needed to organize teachings, making them more readily accessible to members.

Plugin was created remarkably fast, held to the two-week deadline.  Needs addressed, attentive to details, responsive to change orders, and any issues/glitches were resolved in a timely manner.

Attention to detail, quality of work, and the ability/skill to make my vision a reality.  Was so pleased that I hired them for ongoing site maintenance/upkeep and security optimization.

I am very pleased with the quality of work both with the custom work and site maintenance.  Tho completed tasks are always clearly communicated, I feel that communication in general could be slightly improved based on past experiences with other web tech services & site maintenance companies.

We received detailed weekly emails about progress against the defined plan.  We also had access to the development site and could test features as they were finished.

We received weekly emails detailing progress made against the plan and notes on any changes or feedback on work that had been completed.  The project management was well organized and we appreciated how they made us feel like we knew what was happening and where we were against the plan.

They were very responsive to our needs and requests.  We felt like they took time to listen to what we wanted and translated that into a written plan that we could track against and then keep us up to date on progress.

We had a few emails be missed in between meetings because we were using a general email address that would need to be sorted on their end based on the memo line, if the memo was changed or we did not respond to the correct message, it could be missed. We were able to correct this after our weekly meeting, but it would be nice to have a more direct communication method.

WooNinjas came highly recommended and through our conversations with Zee we felt very comfortable engaging them for this project. Their track record of success and examples of similar e-learning website projects made the decision to choose them a very easy one.

The scope of this work included everything from the initial strategy to the design, development, and launch of the website. We relied on their expertise to help us design the flow of our educational content and we are very happy that we did. Our website was built on a WordPress platform with the LearnDash plugin.

Our primary contact throughout the project was Zee, who was very patient and thoughtful as he guided us through their process.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The two outcomes of this project that the management team used to measure success were timeline and quality of end product. We were 100% satisfied with both the website and the organization of our e-learning content. The fact that this was all delivered a week earlier than expected was just an added bonus!

Communication was a strong point in our project with WooNinjas. They were very timely in their response and happy to communicate and explain things to us whether it be in Zoom meetings or via email.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We considered a few different vendors for this project, but what ultimately impressed us most about WooNinjas was their expertise in e-learning. Their Wordpress & LearnDash skills/experience from previous projects was a tier above everyone else we considered and now that the project is complete. They practiced what they preached to exceed our business's goals.

Our expectations for this project were exceeded and we don't really see any areas that could have been done better.

We presented our ideas and desires for the portal to them. They developed and programmed it from scratch. They were involved from the design all the way through the development and testing.
The goal was to allow practitioners to get certificates. There are multiple certificates available from one code.

They customized the portal based on our needs. Our expectations were met; we’re satisfied.

How did WooNinjas perform from a project management standpoint?

Despite the time difference, they were available and responsive. We usually received a response within an hour. Communication was smooth, and they usually were transparent about delivery time.

They did a good job of finding solutions for the challenges we experienced. They were proactive and had a good price point.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There is a little room for improvement in project management, regarding the delivery of work that is past the deadline. Sometimes we were waiting for something and didn’t know when it would be done.

Are there any areas for improvement or something WooNinjas could have done differently?

Our Wooninjas contact Rizwan is great to work with, responsive, timely, and clear in his communications. Wooninjas are obviously skilled and knowledgeable in website security, maintenance, troubleshooting, and custom coding, and I would highly recommend them in that capacity. 

As far as improvement of services goes, the coders they have employed on the page redesigns of the figma wireframes are taking longer than was expected due to their apparent lack of attention to detail. Small design and text elements have been initially missed and their lack of checking functionality of the pages and cross platforms results in time spent in multiple reviews. That being said they do follow up on the feedback details and are open to minor changes on the original designs.
