I’m a controller at The Rooter Service Company, a full plumbing services company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Wishup?

I needed an assistant.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Wishup provides me with a virtual assistant who does a lot of background work so that I can do other things to grow my company. She mainly deals with customer service and does a lot of the tasks needed to keep the company running. Her scope also includes making and taking calls, dealing with warranty portals, and helping me with accounting. Basically, she wears a lot of hats.

Initially, I met with Wishup and briefed them on what I needed, explaining the candidate we were looking for. Then, they allowed us to interview 3–4 candidates and helped us choose the right one for our company’s needs.

What is the team composition?

In addition to the virtual assistant, I communicate with 3–4 teammates from Wishup.

How did you come to work with Wishup?

I found them online and chose them because they had great reviews and seemed to be a reputable company. I saw that they would interview, train, and accompany the virtual assistant, showing care for who they provide companies like ours with.

We’ve spent $4,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

Since hiring the virtual assistant from Wishup, I’ve noticed that she has relieved me from the daily duties, allowing me to grow the business from another angle. Our partnership has been wonderful.
