I’m the sole proprietor of a consulting company in my name. We provide digital solutions primarily to the life insurance industry. I work with a team of technologists on a few large clients, trying to modernize their quoting application to quote structured annuities.

What challenge were you trying to address with WebDevXd?

Toward the end of last year, I knew I wanted to create a solution that would onboard structured annuities companies onto a single cloud-based platform. I hired them to create this business website for me.

The business platform has automated emails, messaging functionalities, and video content. They built the site from the ground up in WordPress. Whenever I need an update on the website, I’m still able to call her for assistance.

I found her services initially through a freelance website. When I posted the job, I received a number of responses from qualified people. I interviewed the top 3–4 companies on the phone and settled on Stephanie. In addition to my business, I’m a musician that donates proceeds to a charity that’s near and dear to my heart. Stephanie created that site for me as well, and it was a great experience. I had no hesitation about hiring her again for my business website.

The site was made in January 2020. She completed it within a month.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re marketing services to a very specific B2B audience with the business site. However, her problem-solving skills have helped us achieve results for both the business and music websites. The pandemic interrupted an initiative through the music website, so she was able to create a link for site visitors to donate directly to the charity.

She’s amazing at managing complex projects, always returning to me with great recommendations to enhance the presentation of the material. All of the work is completed according to our deadlines, and she’s always available to me.

She is talented, responsive, smart, and has a great personality. It’s been a pleasure to work with her. She’s a very skilled developer and has never delivered anything less than outstanding.

What challenge were you trying to address with WebDevXd?

We wanted a website that had a unique cinematic feel and was optimized to display well on all devices. After our website was designed and developed, we wanted tutorials on how to easily manage the website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

WebDevXd created prototype PDF mockups for us within the first few days of hire. After we approved the mockups, they set up the domain name, web hosting package, and developed the website. After the website was completed, they created video tutorials to teach my son how to log in and edit the website on his own. Finally, they set up our website email for us.

We were assigned one team member, Stephanie, who served as our point of contact throughout the process. She did a great job communicating with us and checking in with us throughout the development process. Within one week of signing our contract, we had our website up and running! The turn around and professionalism was unparalleled.

My search for web design agencies began on yelp. I took reviews, past experience, and prices into consideration. When I contacted different agencies, WebDevXd was the first to respond. Ultimately, I chose them based on their responsiveness, interest in our project, availability and fair pricing.

After we selected to work with WebDevXd, we began a contract. Within one week, we had the mockups and the website created. Turn around was amazing! Our assigned team member, Stephanie, was great at communicating with us every step of the way.

She gave us her personal phone number at the start of the project and welcomed us to call her anytime. This is the beauty of working with small businesses.

Like I said above, Stephanie was a fantastic project manager. She answered all of our calls and fulfilled all of our requests within 24 hours. Stephanie also gave us a ton of great information on how the web works. Her turn around, dedication, and knowledge is truly fantastic!

WebDevXd has great customer service, extremely fast turn around, and offers affordable prices. I would highly recommend WebDevXd to anyone looking for a website designed and developed!

No. If anything could have been done better, it would have been us having movie reviews already typed and ready to put on the website. However, WebDevXd did everything they needed to do perfectly.

It's still too soon to say. I am cautiously (very) optimistic. The reason for this is that the reason for the proposed work is explained in detail. What needed to be done and why. It all made sense.

I needed help with my visibility. I mostly worked with the hotels where I was formerly employed, but I wanted to expand to other states and countries. I needed help in getting my brand to a mainstream level to reach more clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I had ideas in my head, but I didn't know how to make them practical. I explained to WebXd that my work only spreads via word of mouth in my hometown. I wanted to be known by and be able to communicate with businesses outside of my current reach. 

WebXd took my ideas and turned them into marketing materials, such as pamphlets and fliers, and they also designed a logo for me. I used those items to pitch to potential clients whenever I was traveling.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The hotels that I pitched increased by almost 50%. Before I reached out to WebXd, I only had 2–3 clients a year. With the branding efforts that WebXd implemented, I interacted with 6–8 hotels, and my inquiries increased as well. I'm currently working with seven hotels.  

How did WebXd perform from a project management standpoint?

WebXd was amazing at project management. I only had a vision in my head but and I didn't know how to articulate and communicate. They were able to take the reins and put ideas in front of me to pick from. They gave me multiple mockups of the design and several color schemes of the fliers and the branding assets. They allowed me to choose since I was indecisive at times. Because of that, I had been impressed with their leadership.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive thing with WebXd was their adaptability. I sometimes work at 1 a.m. or very early in the morning, and despite that, they were able to respond to my texts and emails — they aligned with my work schedule. I was very happy that I could reach them at my convenience.

Are there any areas they could improve?

WebXd met everything that I wanted and needed. I’ll definitely work with them again in the future. I can’t think of anything that they could have done better.
