I’m the CEO of Gling Gling LLC. We’re in the restaurant industry; we have an application that allows customers to scan a QR code to order and communicate with the waiter through the app.

We came from zero in this business and needed someone to support us all the way.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Webtronic Labs is our development partner. They’ve developed our application for iOS and Android and WordPress website. They started with the business analytics and all the documents we needed to design the application. Then, they began development using React Native. We’re still working with them.

What is the team composition?

We have six team members: two full stack developers working on the frontend, two backend developers, one business analyst, and a designer.

How did you come to work with Webtronic Labs?

I met the CEO in Thailand, and we talked about business. I liked him; he’s a great man.

We’ve spent $317,000.

We began working with them in January 2023, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have leads and are working on marketing. Moreover, we have the application ready, but we’re sending it to Google and Apple for development review. Webtronic Labs’ quality is the best. Maybe we’ve had 1–2 bugs on tasks, but never a giant bug that will take months to fix. The developers are all seniors, so everything is good.

How did Webtronic Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

They deliver the tasks before deadlines and are available whenever we need them, even on Sundays. They’ve opened a Slack channel for our project and used Google Meet and Zoom. Moreover, Webtronic Labs never leaves me far behind; they never wait to answer something.

Alexander (Software Engineer) has given his heart and soul to the project; he’s outstanding.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I can’t mention something incredible because the company is incredible. The whole team has done a great job; everything is above and beyond.

I’m the CEO of a private equity advisory firm. I put parties together for investments.

What challenge were you trying to address with Webtronic Labs?

I hired them to put together a Podio platform. I had started doing it myself but realized the project required the work of a professional.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Webtronic Labs has developed a platform for a real estate project, within which they’ve built 11 apps. Initially, I gave the team an idea of what I wanted and my overall goals. I wanted to see offers, contracts, and investors and connect them to private lenders, closing agents, and other agents. 

The team has put together my entire operation within the platform, including all my activity, property, offers, real estate agents, cash buyers, wholesalers, private lenders, the marketing team, appointments, whiteboards, closing agents, and leads. The team has put everything on Podio for us to see on desktop and mobile. 

Within the system, I can see my inventory with every property I have, including potential leads, and sort through them. I can take a property and make a contract from an offer. From there, I can move to the contracts app and pull up every contract I have — I have over 40 — including option agreements, amendments, and addendums. 

Then, I can bring up a transaction and prefill other contracts. I can also add to transactions, specifying who the closing agent is. I have my agents within the platform in a section called My Professionals, where I can also see CPAs, attorneys, wholesalers, and private equity investors. I can bring any of them into a transaction, and the platform notifies them when I pre-fill the agreement. When they reply, I can see when other parties are taking action in real time.

The platform also shows me leads. Every time I get a lead, I input and sort them according to what kind of property they want, the amount they can invest, and how soon they can invest. From there, I can turn that lead into an offer and, later, a contract. Additionally, I can bring appraisals into the system. 

Currently, Webtronic Labs continues to tweak the platform, adding more features as the market develops. They’re also building a Podio platform for a gym and a website for real estate investment. The gym project involves social media content creators, billing with Mindbody, and booking classes. Webtronic Labs is also assembling a team to work on my social media. The team will build my Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Yelp accounts.

I’ve worked with a developer and two other teammates from Webtronic Labs. 

How did you come to work with Webtronic Labs?

I found them through a Google search, then spoke to a CPA I know who had already worked with Webtronic Labs. The CPA told me Webtronic Labs had done an amazing job for them and was on point with timing and follow-up. 

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent $8,000–$10,000 on the real estate project, and I’ll probably spend around $8,000 on the gym project — Webtronic Labs is working on the proposal. Additionally, I pay $300 a month for maintenance and social media. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in April 2022, and we started the gym project in February 2023. Our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Webtronic Labs has done an amazing job. Since the project started, I’ve closed almost $1.3 million in transactions for different projects on the real estate platform and made about $100,000 in revenue thanks to the gym app. The engagement has been awesome from day one. It would probably take five separate apps to finish what I wanted to do with Podio, but I have it all in one place thanks to Webtronic Labs.

For the real estate project, seeing my entire operation on desktop and mobile in one place has saved me a lot of time. Our efficiency comes down to time; the more of it we have, the more offers we can process and the more transactions we can close. 

Additionally, Webtronic Labs’ knowledge, structure, and ability to suggest ideas or add to ideas we already had are outstanding. Many providers need guidance, but I can give Webtronic Labs an idea, and the team shares several others based on their expertise. 

How did Webtronic Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

They engage with me daily and overdeliver. The team has also delivered ahead of deadlines. Initially, I thought it would take six months to complete the real estate project, but Webtronic Labs showed us live beta versions within two weeks and finished the platform in less than three weeks. 

Moreover, the team’s follow-up is amazing. They always get back to me and quickly put my ideas into the finished product. We primarily communicate through Slack and email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality I value the most from Webtronic Labs is their ability to get back to me on time and understand my ideas without needing a lot of follow-ups or hand-holding; they take my ideas and run with them. I’m most impressed by their delivery time on both Podio projects. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could help me identify other tools within Podio that could effectively work with all the moving parts of my business. However, that’s not part of their tasks.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be very specific about the task you want them to accomplish and have a roadmap of the end goal with every piece you need. Webtronic Labs will get the idea right away and work with it.
